"Thank you Chris for the kind review. I will let Sean know that you were happy with our work. And thanks again for choosing our service."
"I am sorry Judy that you felt that the charges were too high; but we did do the $199 promotion that includes up to 10 air vents and one furnace and a free dryer vent. Your home is actually listed as a commercial property. It was 4000 square feet with two furnaces and a total of 26 vents. You also had an active rodent problem inside your ductwork, that we addressed that day. All charges are discussed up front and made very clear before any work is ever started and an authorization must be given by the homeowner to proceed. We only charged you what is stated in our coupon and what was quoted to you over the phone and once again when in your home that day. We did not charge you for the video camera inspection, that you requested we do inside the ductwork, for the rodent issue. A lot of work was done on your property that day to clean out a very contaminated ductwork system infested with rodents. I know that other companies would have charged a lot more for the services we performed for you that day. We did an excellent job in your home that day and for the best price possible."
"This review is absolutely no reflection of the workmanship or experience of our company or our equipment or our technicians. I have been in the air duct cleaning business for over 20 years. My company is fully licensed, bonded and insured. My company follows all of the guidelines as set forth by the NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) and the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) for performing air duct cleaning, in a standard acceptable for our trade and uses ethical business practices. We don't necessarily perform air duct cleaning that may be shown on a You tube video. We have accumulated over 1500 A+ reviews of satisfied customers across Southern California, over the years and we have maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau for over 20 years. Our technician was on this job, a 1700 square foot home for 4 hours. He did everything that was required to complete a job acceptable to industry standards and completed within the scope of our advertised special: clean inside each air duct with a rotating brush and hepa-filtered vacuum system; brush and vacuum the air vent registers; clean inside the FAU unit (furnace); sanitize the system, install a clean filter; inspect the ductwork to see if there are any major disconnections or air leaks. We also cleaned the dryer duct. It cost Mr. Sirbu $199 as advertised. It was a complete comprehensive cleaning of the air duct system. We do not use a 'rug machine'. It is a hepa-filtered air duct machine called a Rotobrush. It is a very good machine that is used across the country by thousands of companies. The vacuum hose of this machine is meant to come off of the back of the machine, when the machine is moved (which is typically done several times, when moving the machine to a new area of the home, during the course of the job) and then the hose is re-connected. Our technician did inspect the ductwork in the attic. But the customer wanted our tech to also do an air leak test on the ducts that the customer repaired himself, to make sure there were no air leaks. ( The leak test the customer wanted our tech to perform is called a HERS test. This test can determine if air ducts have air leaks-but requires special equipment and can cost $300-$400 and up). My company does not provide this HERS service nor was this service ever promised to Mr. Sirbu or even mentioned. I do not want to be disrespectful of Mr. Sirbu here, but I think he watched 'generic' things on You tube from across the country and expected those things to take place in his home (air duct cleaning will be different on the East Coast then here in Southern California, because they have basements and extensive sheet metal ductwork systems). There was also a language barrier here, that my technician had to ask Mr. Sirbu to repeat his questions several times, before understanding him and answering his questions. I will let our record and reviews speak for themselves. We spent 4 hours in his home, perfo"
"This was not an air duct cleaning job. It was for a repair of air ducts. It is not possible to give an exact price for air duct repairs over the phone, because there are too many variables involved in air duct repairs. I asked this customer if he could send me pictures of the damaged ducts and he did. Based on the pictures he sent, I gave the customer an estimate of the minimum of what it would cost to either repair or replace the ducts in question. I emailed a quote and again gave the same quote over the phone. The customer accepted my quote and scheduled the appointment. The day of the appointment the technician performed the repair for exactly the minimum that I quoted this customer. I think the reason for this complaint, is buyers remorse and not that the customer did not receive an exact estimate for the work. The reason I say that I feel this is buyers remorse, is that the customer sent me an email the day after the job was completed, complaining that his master bedroom was still not cooling down enough. I never told the customer repairing the duct would solve the problem of cooling his room down to his satisfaction, nor was I even aware of his motives for repairing the duct. He said although the repair did increase airflow into that room, it was still not cooling down enough. The problem with his room is it has cathedral ceilings and is very large with only one air vent servicing the entire room; too much volume. I am sorry that your room is not cooling down to your satisfaction, but that is not the job we were trying to correct. ALL OUR PRICES ARE EXACT AND QUOTED OVER THE PHONE OR BY EMAIL. We have over 1000 A+ reviews by customers and we do not do business in the negative way this customer is suggesting. The facts of this job, is that we did perform the repairs with excellent workmanship and at the price quoted."
