Richard is a friendly go-getter establishing Shaw Air in ATL. He's knowledgeable and experienced in all levels of the process from start to finish, and always answered my questions re the installation and the smart thermostat. He tailored my job based on my needs like $, the unique space and equipment, and weather challenges. I requested an air scrubber because of the benefits I experienced in a prior home. He returned as promised to install it. I admire his earnest dedication to friendly customer service as he builds up Shaw Air and responds to all challenges, head on. As stated on his VM greeting, he responds more quickly to text messages.

Hire Date: They were originally supposed to come on Feb 1st but after two days of Delay they started the work on Feb 3rd. It was raining that day and they came without the booties to work. Richard had promised to do the work himself. in fact the work was given to him provided he personally does the work. Instead, he outsourced the work to contractors who had no idea what they were doing. In Richards own text messages they were jokers. Within a 2 week period, Richard let go of 3 of his contractors that were how bad things were. Start date of the project? Feb 3rd Date the project was agreed to be completed? 2-3 Days The AC was installed but due to the inconvenience caused and damage to the property, Richard agreed to have the Carpet steam cleaned and also provide me with 2 UV lights. We included both of these in the invoice against which I authorized to pay him the money. Richard said he does not have the money to buy the UV lights and if I release his money he will buy the lights Below is the text message on the Thumbtack Platform Amin, I am so sorry for this. Shaw air has fixed everything needed and paid for full cleaning of your full basement carpet a total of 200$. We are a company that takes responsibility. You are though still pending two free Uv lights that we are giving you for the inconvenience my former installers caused you. As soon as they arrive they will be installed. I apologize again for the inconveniences and hope I have made you change you mind about us. Best wishes The UV lights were finally installed after 2 months of back and forth Percentage of the project left to be completed, if any? Both the units that Richard worked on are not working properly and leaking water. The condensation pump for one unit is not working and the entire duct instalation attached to the system has come out. The System is making a sound which he is aware of but refuses to acknowledge. We are under a three year warranty period for maintenance including one year for parts and labor. He set up an appointment to come and repair but did not show up giving a lame excuse that it is raining. Its is hardly drizzling in our area Date you realized there was a problem with the project, and what are your concerns? The problems have been going on throughout the project. I regret hiring this vendor. We are now planning to take them to court to recover our money Think twice before hiring this vendor.
