Systems break down days after warranty. I purchased and installed the system on 10/09/2025 on 10/16/2025 I called to report the fan making a grinding noise. I was told out of warranty, and I had to pay a service trip of $250 just to get an appointment and they will not schedule without a CC to secure the $250. They say the fan is warrantied still but won't check it without the service fee. This system serves my basement apartment for my 90+ years old parents to keep them safe. They have infirmities and I have to care for them, and this is important to keep they safe and heathy. I am now forced to find a new system with better customer service. This should serve as a warning to other about quality of the equipment, just a year and headed to failure, and that the company is more interested in profit not customer service or product and service reputation. If you are looking for quality in equipment and service as ROI on your investment, this is not the company you are looking for.

Radon level in basement was too high so we hired SWAT to put in an exhaust fan and pipe to release excess radon gas. This was done to rectify a problem with home inspection; then house sold and we moved.

They had to replace the whole system because the first tech did not install the fan correctly. Problem after problem. I would not recommend it.

My fan stopped working after 8 months. I called asking for a repair and was informed there will be a $199 *Service Fee* to send somebody out. How many of you reading this have heard of a $199 *Service Fee*? Their *warranty* means nothing. They did offer to send me a fan so I could install it myself but let me know that the *warranty* would be void in the future. No way to treat your customers. Find another outfit to install your radon mitigation system!

The technician who did the remediation work was prompt, courteous, professional and very knowledgable. i qiuzzes him before the job started and I could tell he knew his stuff. the job was completed in a timely manner. i definately will call SWAT again for my next listing/sale that needs remediation of radon. thank you Home/Advisor and SWAT. Awesome customer service and price. Awful workmanship on the install.

The installer plugged the system into a GFC outlet (that already had some larger items - and it was being tripped). I called the sales person that I originally dealt with and he had a manager call me back that day and sent someone out the next day to take care of plugging it into a different/non-GFC plug. (Yes, I could have done that, but didn't want to mess up the warranty.) Everyone I have dealt with at SWAT has been very responsive, even down to the second person that came out gave me a courtesy call stating that he would be outside of the original time, but when to expect him.

The installer explained how the system works and where the best placement would be in the utility room. He worked with my buyer as well. It was a great experience.
