I 'thought' very highly of these people. until I learned what seems to be a horrible possibility. It would seem he ripped me off by saying I needed freon when I didn't. ( Home Advisor listed Air Tek as a possible professional to match my request in May '14). I don't know anything about a/c systems. I found out the next year - when I wanted to have him back out and he wouldn't return phone calls (repeated messages I left) and I hired someone else, that it is likely there was no freon actually added (no 'repair' of a leak was done, so why didn't it leak again and need more this year? Why wasn't it failing to keep our house cool to begin with if it needed freon?) Dumb, Dumb me. Two different techs have been called out this year, '15, for estimates on a proposed add-on unit and I ran this by them. They explained enough about a/c and how it works for me to strongly suspect I was ripped off for several containers of freon. Just saying........

Jay was very professional and very honest. He replied immediately and came over quickly to assess my needs. I didn't have to wait days, which was important especially since temperature in Dallas was in the 90s. He also gave me a reasonable quote. I highly recommend Air Tek.

Dealing with Air Tek was great. They contacted me quickly and quoted a reasonable price. Parts needed to be ordered and they provided updates on the status of the parts while we were waiting. Once the parts were in, they completed the work the next day. Would definitely recommend Air Tek and will be using them in the future.
