Electric Furnace / Forced Air Heating System Installation
i have been trying to get in contact with this company for the past 3 weeks. i purchased 2 hvac units for house and along with them a "warranty ?of $900 each.
the time comes that i need to use this "warranty" and i can?t get anyone on the phone to come service my units. it has been a consistent 90 degrees hot in my house for the past 3+ weeks now. clearly, they are not honoring this service contract i purchased. there main number is listed everywhere. Ending in 2400. and they do not answer this line. it is always a voicemail. no one ever returns my calls or voicemails i leave.
Finally found a phone number off the Better Business Bureau website for these people. Sounds like the owner?s name is Randy. He doesn?t answer the phone either, but after I left a voicemail for first time calling Randy. someone calls me back on the MAIN PHONE NUMBER ending in 2400 I?ve been calling for the past three + weeks. i still have yet to get my system serviced. if i didnt have this warranty with them.

We had a maintenance contract with them for several years before using them to replace our entire system in June 2019. We were informed we had a 10-year warranty with our new system. In May, 2021, it was not working, and an employee spent multiple days installing a total of 3 different thermostats, and was never able to get the unit to a functional level (it either did not work, or would not turn off). We finally insisted that the owner come look at the unit, and he was so rude and aggressive, we were unable to communicate with him, and the unit still did not work properly. I terminated our contract and then learned that they never registered our unit in 2019, leaving us with only a 5-year warranty. The quality of the work and customer service has significantly declined in the last 2 years, such that I will not allow them onto the property. The owner was threatening on the phone when I terminated their service, and laughed when I talked about the thousands of dollars I have spent with them, the last of which was over $500 to replace thermostats that still did not work until we hired someone else.

"First, I am sorry that you do not understand that when you curse at our staff then we take it very seriously especially when we are trying to fix your problem. Second, it is an outright lie that your equipment was not under warranty when we just did a warranty repair 3 months ago with your information attached to the part. Last but not least, it is really disturbing that you put all this misinformation about what really happened at your home while we were trying to complete a repair. I am really sorry that we hit this bump in the road, but we will not tolerate cursing and mistreating the staff or the way you cursed me on the phone."

I WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THEM IN THE FUTURE FOR ANY A/C OR HEATING NEEDS!!! ON TIME! So pleasant on the phone and in person. I like to support small businesses, like this, with a great work ethic! They didn't try to "upsell" me stuff I didn't want or need. In and out quickly yet thorough and systematic in their work. They sealed my duct work as well... I didn't even know I was losing air into my attic space... They saw it and did what should have been done originally!! GREAT PRICES!!

I made an appointment to have duct work replaced due to what I thought was an animal that had gotten underneath and destroyed everything. When they arrived I was told there was way more involved than I thought. I could see by the pictures and after removing some of the under pinning exactly what they were talking about. They could have patched it up and i could have paid them and I would have never known any better, which is exactly what had happened from a previous company. I being very skeptical on who to hire as this is my vacation home but I could not have made a better decision!! After being told of my situation I made the decision to go ahead and replace all the duct work and figured since things had changed it would be the next week before it could be completed , no they were there the next day. They worked through several rain downpours and awful heat but everything and completed,cleaned up and I had great air once again. Randy and Christina actually came by during the job and it was so nice to meet them!! They could have done a patch job and left with me thinking everything was great but they did not do that. It is so good to know there are decent and honest people you can trust like Randy and Christina Byrd and the guys they have working for them. I was told "mam I just can't patch this up and leave you with it , I just wouldn't feel right and I would hate for anybody to do that to my sister or mother". This whole job was started and completed in 1 day. They cleaned and hauled away everything and I was told he would check in with me in a few days to be sure everything was good!! I could not have been more pleased with the crew and the work they did! I would recommend AIR TIME to everyone! I need to mention the cost...I had another estimate done before choosing anyone for the job and after everything was said and done Air Time saved me hundreds of dollars!! I couldn't have made a better decision!! Air Time is the best.
