Aire Serv of Omaha

We had our air conditioner serviced. The technician, Scott, said we needed a pound of R-410A Refrigerant and I said ok. he added it and charged us $498 for 1 pound! Googled the national average of a pound of this refrigerant and it came back $50 to $90 a pound installed. Scott, the technician did not tell us the price until he handed us the bill after adding it. I called the office and the lady said there is nothing she could do about it, they charge what they charge and that the technician tells you the cost before installing. I told her he did not, but that didn't matter. I asked her if there could have been a mistake in the billing and she said no without pausing to look. They also squabbled about honoring a $50 coupon we had from them, but finally honored it. These guys are crooks. Roughly a $400 markup from the national average for a pound of this refrigerant.

We had Aire Serv dispatched by our AHS home warranty to fix an AC problem. Our condenser unit outdoors was dead. Wed already had this diagnosed and knew what was involved. They said it was covered, but that we would need almost $1000 worth of not covered modifications to wiring and duct work . That made no sense. We confirmed with the original company and then contacted AHS. In the interim, Aire Serv called and said they had the unit and needed to complete the repairs within a week as per the warranty policy. Of course that turned out to be a lie. AHS suggested that they would have another company look at it. Aire Serv called again demanding that the repair be completed. When they were told that a second company would be looking at the project on behalf of AHS, they flipped and said they were out. As expected, the second repair firm confirmed that their estimate was fraudulent. Avoid them at all costs.

They did a good job, exactly as stated. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of service (heating/Air) replaced.

They were very easy to deal with. On time to the appointment and even finished earlier than they originally thought.

The technician was pleasant and efficient. He also made a correction from the original installation is locating the humidistat.

There was a little problem with communication between the technicians, electricians, and the office, but overall, we're very pleased with AireServ. We heartily recommend them!

Our salesman was GREAT! He was completely a "no pressure" salesman and was very good at explaining the different furnace systems to us. His knowledge of the systems was explained in a way we could understand and we really appreciated that.

Provided me with several heating and cooling options. The option I went with was best for the house and with in my financing budget. They completed the paperwork of the Nebraska Applicance Rebate. The purchase also qualified for the Federal rebate also. The installers were great. The basement was clear and the installation was the neat looking. Great follow up after the installation. The airconditioner really cools the house nicely.

Quick service at a great price

It took only one day to install the furnace and heat pump/AC. They were very professional. I am very happy with the performance of the system they installed. It is so nice to have central air vs a window unit!! These guys get a thumbs up from me!!
