NO MATTER WHAT DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY! I am a business owner and do not like to talk or write anything bad or negative about other businesses services because I know how hard it is to keep a business running but this time I felt that I have to write something since I feel really bad, they basically ripped me off and took advantage, took my money and did nothing. I contacted Airwest, which is one of the things I will regret for a long time, the air conditioning that was already installed was not working properly, they told me that they could help me, we went ahead and scheduled an appointment for the next week in June. A guy named Alex showed up, he checked the unit and told me that there can be many reasons why the unit was not working properly and since it was not installed by them, the only way to find out what the problem was, is by re-installing the whole unit again, once he did that he was going to be able to fix it, I told him that if the Unit was defective all I needed to return the Unit for money back was the information of the company who installed the item, he told me that he could help with that once again by re-stalling it, if he could not fix it, that meant that the unit was defective and he was going to provide their information, he told that their fee for installation runs normally between $1,200 - $1,500 but since it was already installed and most of the job was already done, the fee was going to be $900, we agreed on that, he came the next day worked on the Unit, told me that he would have to come back another day to finish, next day comes, this guy Alex shows up, starts working on the Unit again, after everything he told me that he was not able to find or fix the problem, that the Unit was defective. I told him that was fine and since the unit is defective all I need was their information, he did not want to provide their information and told me that they did not install the item, I said you guys did not install the Unit originally but you guys installed the unit this second time, he then went ahead and told me that they all he did was a service, I told him that, that was not the agreement, he told me to look at the paper it was only for service, not installation, he LIED!! straight to my face, he told me that I had to pay the $900 basically for nothing, and was not going to provide any information. I called the manager Joel, explained the situation and he was even more unprofessional, he told me that he can provide their information to return the item to the manufacturer but that they were not going to be responsible for the installation, I told him that, that was the same as nothing since in order for me to return the Item I would have to provide the name of the company who installed the unit, otherwise, the manufacturer was not going to accept the return. He told me that there was nothing they could do and then I have to pay the $900. I am paying what I owed because I am not like them and they made me sign an agreement base on lies, I know that if I do not pay they would want to take this to court, but I would keep writing all the reviews that I can in different platforms like this one, I will make sure to reach as many people as I can so they do not end up like me, I want everyone to know that this company has NO IDEA on what they are doing. Please do yourself a favor and look for another company and make sure they have the right credential before hiring them.

The technician was on time and arrived on time after a short look at the problem gave me a price and replaced the thermostat. The price was reasonable.

The customer service is outstanding, but unfortunately we live in California where the regulations are very strict. We had to have our unit replaced within a year of installation and just had a part of out, so no heat for almost 2 weeks. The part was on back order and Amana would not take responsibility for the labor charge to fix it, but the part was covered under warranty. Air west has merged with another company, so now during the transition, I need to deal with both companies. The part came in and now it is fixed, but it is definitely been frustrating to have so many problems with our until that is barely a year old. Installed in February 2020, new unit put in July 2020 and already needed repair January 2022. For the price we paid, the quality of the Amana product we got is substandard to say the least. They were great. Easy to reach. Very professional. Great customer service. Great people. Dave is a mechanical engineer and know his stuff. He won't over sell you and he will provide several options. Geri and Joe were also great. Hope to continue using them in the future.

My system wouldn t cool the house properly and ran forever. A serious analysis was done on my whole system. I was prepared to replace it, but Dave measured temperatures and air flows, and said my system was good but just needed cleaning and better airflow. They installed new ductwork and an additional vent. They disassembled, and cleaned everything, reinstalled, insulated, and retested the whole system. This took all day with 3 of his top guys. We have had a couple of hot days recently to see how much improved it would be. Very happy. My system runs much quieter and cools more quickly. I m very happy with their work. In addition they were great to work with; never pushy, always friendly and professional. They will come back in June to check up on everything including the refrigerant. 👍🏻👍🏻

Dave is a quality person to work with and very fair. His support staff with Gerrie and the bookkeeping staff are spot on and very intrested in what's going on with you and working with you and your schedule. They are very attentive. Their prices are very fair and they do an excellent job, I'd recommend them to anyone. This heater was going into my nephews place so it was really important that this be the best that I could offer to him. Thanks to all at AirWest!

I hired Airwest back in October for a new HVAC system. They completed the job in one day, and it worked amazing. I love the energy efficiency as well with the smart thermostat. However, 7 months later I noticed a leak from the copperline as I changed the filter. Turns out it was freon leaking due to bad welding job. Chris the Airwest tech diagnosed and returned to fix it and replace the freon. All is well now but Airwest should retrain some of their techs on proper welding or install of systems in the future.

Had a really good experience with them. Workers were very polite and kept our place clean after their job. We initially wanted to just get one mini-split but ended up getting two because of the deal that their sales gave us. Overall, we are very happy customers.

The company is not reliable, they took the money before job was fully done and I ended up having no permit from the city. The installation is done in December 2016. I paid in full in December 2016, and additional amount for permit in February 2017. Total was $13K. Permit was included in original contract, but Airwest requested for additional reimbursement for higher permit fee with the city and higher cost of drilling through metal roofing. Shouldn't they have estimated that before? So unprofessional! At that time, I wanted to get things done and completed so I paid for that as well. Didn't know that the inspection for permit was failed due to missing fence cover around the AC unit. And they didn't tell me either! But still took all the money in full? In November 2017, I got the mail notice from the city as the the permit application is about to expired. I reached out to Airwest and they told me they couldn't call me, so communication in between February 2017 and November 2017. My ex was the main contact listed on the contract, so my phone number is not listed, I understand there would be difficult reaching me by phone. But the company has my address and my email, we had contacted mainly via email for money/contract/check/invoice matter, so it is shady that they could not reach out for me. After many attempts contacting Dave (the president) and Joe (the installation manager), the fence was installed on June 2018 and went through inspection on June 11th 2018. It failed again, and ever since contacting Joe became almost impossible, I called many times, and email his boss (Dave). Final update is that they will take care of this but no ETA confirmed. I contacted Dave 3 times via email after that (August 9th 2018, Aug 27th 2018 and Sept 12th 2018) and still no solid answer and asking me to look for Joe instead? Now I have to chase them to fix their work? what is my $13K for? I consistently following up by emails and calls and the issue hasn't been resolved. Please advise how should I get this all done and paid for by Airwest, they need to be responsible for this! Do not hire them.

Dave, the owner, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The workers were all friendly and professional. There was one part not wired correctly the first time which caused the fan to not run unless the heat or AC was on, but it was quickly caught and fixed. Great value.

Work went well. Timely, friendly crew. Attic insulation was not put back in place around new ceiling duct/vents. I informed office and someone came out to meet inspector for final approval but did not take care of the insulation.

The owner came to my house and explained my options. Then the installers showed up the following week on time and very courteous and efficient. Everything went according to plan, no surprises.

Hired Airwest AC to replace our 1996 AC unit. No complaints with his service. The team was quick with both the installation and pulling of the permits.
