NO MATTER WHAT DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY! I am a business owner and do not like to talk or write anything bad or negative about other businesses services because I know how hard it is to keep a business running but this time I felt that I have to write something since I feel really bad, they basically ripped me off and took advantage, took my money and did nothing. I contacted Airwest, which is one of the things I will regret for a long time, the air conditioning that was already installed was not working properly, they told me that they could help me, we went ahead and scheduled an appointment for the next week in June. A guy named Alex showed up, he checked the unit and told me that there can be many reasons why the unit was not working properly and since it was not installed by them, the only way to find out what the problem was, is by re-installing the whole unit again, once he did that he was going to be able to fix it, I told him that if the Unit was defective all I needed to return the Unit for money back was the information of the company who installed the item, he told me that he could help with that once again by re-stalling it, if he could not fix it, that meant that the unit was defective and he was going to provide their information, he told that their fee for installation runs normally between $1,200 - $1,500 but since it was already installed and most of the job was already done, the fee was going to be $900, we agreed on that, he came the next day worked on the Unit, told me that he would have to come back another day to finish, next day comes, this guy Alex shows up, starts working on the Unit again, after everything he told me that he was not able to find or fix the problem, that the Unit was defective. I told him that was fine and since the unit is defective all I need was their information, he did not want to provide their information and told me that they did not install the item, I said you guys did not install the Unit originally but you guys installed the unit this second time, he then went ahead and told me that they all he did was a service, I told him that, that was not the agreement, he told me to look at the paper it was only for service, not installation, he LIED!! straight to my face, he told me that I had to pay the $900 basically for nothing, and was not going to provide any information. I called the manager Joel, explained the situation and he was even more unprofessional, he told me that he can provide their information to return the item to the manufacturer but that they were not going to be responsible for the installation, I told him that, that was the same as nothing since in order for me to return the Item I would have to provide the name of the company who installed the unit, otherwise, the manufacturer was not going to accept the return. He told me that there was nothing they could do and then I have to pay the $900. I am paying what I owed because I am not like them and they made me sign an agreement base on lies, I know that if I do not pay they would want to take this to court, but I would keep writing all the reviews that I can in different platforms like this one, I will make sure to reach as many people as I can so they do not end up like me, I want everyone to know that this company has NO IDEA on what they are doing. Please do yourself a favor and look for another company and make sure they have the right credential before hiring them.
