Michael from Ajakie Construction was my contractor during the major renovation of 2 homes. We first began working together almost 20 years ago. He and his crew were very knowledgable and their work was excellent. Michael was always mindful of the budget. I was hoping to hire his company for another project, but TN is his home now!

Michael Ajakie did our first major renovation in 1999 completely gutting the kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom, master bathroom and installed hurricane resistant windows. Michael and his team were always on time, highly ethical and the quality of work was exceptional. His attention to detail shows in the completed project. When we moved to a new home, against my better judgment, we hired a client of my husbands to renovate an existing patio into a family room. It proved to be a big mistake. The contractor made so many costly errors and took over a year to complete 330 square feet enclosure. So when we were ready for a our next project in 2004, a total kitchen renovation, we called Michael because we knew we could trust him and would end up with a beautiful kitchen. His knowledge is priceless... He reviewed the plans we had drawn up by an engineer and discovered some mistakes that would have threatened the integrity of the structure and revised the plans thus saving us, yet again, thousands of dollars. I never question his integrity or the amount of the job because he is honest, fair, and gets it done the right way the first time. I'm done using anyone else and will always rely on Michael for any renovations I need. I highly recommend Michael Ajakie and his team!!

This contractor treats your home as his own, protects your furniture and cleans up each area as he finishes. Polite and knowledgeable, offers options that you did not know about .Working with him, you feel comfortable and no worries. Service is fantastic and the cost beats any other company in town!

We had two small jobs, repair a PVC railing and replace trim around a garage door. While Mike was here we asked if he could replace a lightbulb in the garage that was over 14' high. I thought it was just a CFL bulb but it wasn't. Mike tried three different sources with no luck finding the correct replacement bulb. I had to special order it. I will certainly have him come back to install the bulb in the light fixture.

Michael called us and stopped by promptly to look at our small projects to give an estimate. He bought materials and did an excellent job on several unrelated small projects we had. He was also very careful with dropcloths and keeping everything clean. We could not ask for more. We will be calling him again when and if we need help and referring others his way!

Complete remodeling of our home prior to moving in, kitchen, bathrooms, windows and roof.

In the past 10 years, we have done approximately 50 K worth of remodeling on our house. Ajakie Construction has been our general contractor for all of it. Mike was recommended to us for an emergency repair, he did such a great job,we never considered using anyone else. We converted our carport to a garage, installing a new driveway at the same time. They carved out space and install a Butler's pantry next to the kitchen. We had them install new windows, sliding glass doors and custom made closet doors. The house had a totally unusable fireplace. Ajakie Construction rebuilt it and installed a gas line, which we then hooked up to a new on-demand water heater. We also had to have the front door and framing completely rebuilt. All of the projects were completed on time and on budget, with the exception of any additional items that we requested during construction. Mike and the entire crew were always great to work with. Once a project was underway, Mike handled everything from permits, through construction, to clean up. We highly recommend Ajakie Construction for large or small projects. You will not find a more honest or skilled team.
