Very communicative through out the process, gave options for pricing and completed the report in a timely manner. Upon receiving the report I had a few questions that were addressed and answered quickly and followed up by senior management to make sure I was pleased.

First, the person I dealt with didn't take correct notes. He forgot when he agreed to have the appraisal done, and the "on-site" inspection that I paid for amounted to an upper-middle-aged woman using an app on her cell phone. She does this as a side job. She refused to enter the crawl space to photograph the HVAC. She followed an app and took 2 pics of each room inside. No Details. I told the "individual" on the phone that I had repair estimates. He failed again to properly document it. I told him the purpose of the appraisal, and they completely missed the mark. I WASTED $675.00. I will hire a different one and do it again. Even though I will need to pay the attorney for a 2nd appointment. USELESS

The work was performed extremely capably and produced an evaluation that should stand me in good stead as I appeal an excessive property tax revaluation. Akrivis provided me with an accurate, well documented report and took only seven days to do it. I am very pleased.

My house was overvalued by the property tax assessor. It has a lot of damage and is not appropriately reflected in the neighborhood comparisons. (Termites, dry rot, multiple roof leaks, water damage to drywall and floors, failed windows and doors needing replacement) I needed to document this and its effect on the market value. Angie's List steered me to Akrivis. Very prompt and helpful on the phone. I was clear about the situation and what I needed. Two separate conversations initially, and one further conversation with Akrivis when their photographer needed to be instructed to take picture of damaged areas not just routine front back and two pictures of each room. The appraisal I got showed none of this. No real documentation of condition. The finished report consisted of a few general photos and a comparison of neighborhood values based on average price per square foot. Totally useless to me. Called the appraiser who was hostile and unhelpful. I'm out $400 for nothing.

Hired to do valuation of a manufactured home - not on land. Gave appraisal comparison properties included land. therefore not an accurate valuation. Thought salesperson understood nuance.

Paid $375 for a property evaluation that was $250,00.00 lower than what we were being taxed for. After questioning the evaluator,she reevaluated the property to be in line with tax appraisers. Don ' t know if this company is accurate in what they do.

Appraisal was paid for and ordered 13 days before agreed upon report completetion of 5/14 but we did not receive the report until days after on 5/20.
