Alan was extremely prompt and friendly in all our dealings. He did a sump pump installation in the time frame we requested and at his estimated price. We feel confidant that if we have any water table issues in the future that Alan will work with us to resolve them.

Very Responsive. Experienced. Correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone. Spent about a half hour fixing the shower fixture and 1.5 hours on travel time getting the part and traveling here from the town next to mine. Charge was $150 for his time plus parts. Seems reasonable, but I don't know what other plumbers charge for travel time. I was a little disappointed I didn't get the 10% Senior discount he advertises on his web site. Overall, a positive experience. Alan is a likeable, easy to work with guy. Very Quick Response.

Alan replaced our cracked pipe. He needed to cut into the wall, but was very neat doing it and left us with minimal repairs. Alan did not try to talk us into work that we did not need. He was true to his quote. He was able to respond to our call quickly.

Alan is an independent plumber. I chose him because of this. Someone who works for him/herself is getting work predominantly on reputation. Alan delivers on great service based on that. In the past, I went with a referral to a large company and got a different plumber every time. I was not happy. Alan reviewed the work over the phone. He was clear about the price and what I needed to do on my end. He diagnosed the problems accurately and his time spent and pricing was right on. He was fair and showed extreme concern for customer service. Everything works correctly and that was never the case in the past! All fixed-I know I'll call him again.

My sister actually required his services and he was on time and worked under extremely difficult conditions in a crawl space under her house. According to my sister he did a good job and installed another shutoff valve closer to the opening under the house for convenience purposes. I would highly recommend his services.

We needed numerous plumbing repairs, among them, replacing a bathroom lavatory. We wanted to save the counter. Alan carefully and expertly removed the damaged lavatory without damaging the counter and installed a new one and new faucets. He had helped us to find a lav which was the size we needed. He completed other service work for us, too. He came when he said he would, worked carefully and went the extra mile to solve problems that arose. Very good service

Doing business with Alan Marks has been a pleasure. Alan's customer service is the kind you always hope for but rarely ever get. I had a broken and leaking faucet and a sink that was cracked underneath. Having had some pretty bad experiences with contractors in the past, I was not looking forward to finding a plumber to install a new faucet and sink. It is now a couple of weeks later, my new sink and faucet are in and they look and work great!!! From start (special ordering my sink for me, follow-up, etc.) to finish (excellent cleanup), Alan's customer service, pricing and quality of work was second to none!! I HIGHLY recommend him!
