Albion Plumbing & Rooter Inc

I hired Albion Plumbing and Rooter to fix a drip in my tub faucet and a lack of hot water in my bathroom sink. The plumber (Mike) quickly fixed the sink then told me he needed to take the tub faucet apart to see what part was needed. Then he went out to his truck and came back saying he did not have the part and would need to go to Home Depot. At no time did he say he was going to charge me the repair rate of $187/hr for the trip to Home Depot. When he returned an hour later, I asked for the receipt but he refused to show it to me saying he charged the part to the company account. Hmmm, when I use my credit card to charge things I still get a receipt. After he fixed the tub he told me my bill was $646.91. When I questioned this he explained that the part was $145 and he charged me $187 for the trip to Home Depot. Home Depot's website lists the part for $71. He said he would email a receipt for the job but I never received a receipt. Not an honest company - no transparency.
