If you are considering hiring Matthew Theriot of A.L.B.O.E Handyman Services, please do your due diligence. *Do not pay a high materials deposit up front to begin your project *Require valid receipts of all materials and equipment rentals *Get a detailed estimate up front that is clearly broken down by each section *Do not begin work until you have a contract signed *Monitor all work and hours closely *Review planned/promised work and charges daily *Check carefully for damages and dangerous waste after each work day *Document everything *If you notice any unprofessional behavior (overcharging, project delays, substandard work, poor communication, dishonesty, gaslighting, belittling responses to questions), pay attention to these red flags and stop the work immediately. Save yourself the trouble I am in. Don?t be taken advantage of. Be careful, cautious, and do your due diligence when hiring anyone for your projects.
