We decided on Albright after receiving several estimates. They were chosen over two other contractors who both quoted over $11K. Albright quoted us under $10K and finished the job within our desired time frame. I was very pleased to give them 5 stars.

I hired Richard and his crew to install a generator for my daughters new home. I was very impressed with the workers they sent to my home, probably the friendliest contractors I've ever met. They completed the entire install in two days. I would definitely recommend Albright. Thanks guys!

I contracted with Albright to install a Generac generator. The experience was simply nothing short of a 6 month long miserable, stress-filled ordeal. It all started back May of 2014. The owner came came to my home and scoped out the work and we agreed to a location for the generator. He seemed very professional and knowledgeable. He also helped guide me in filling out the form for the local gas utility. Once financing was arranged, things quickly went down hill. Over 5 weeks went by with no communication at all. Then we agreed on installation dates, but the crew came without getting any permits. They started the work, but coincidentally the local building inspector was on site checking on another project, so we all got admonished pretty well. Day 2 they came back to do the electrical component, again no permits. On day 3 as the installation was coming to an end, the foreman calls me outside and says that the length of the pipe was miscalculated and I would have to pay an additional $500.00. After a few minutes, I am told hey if you leave a really nice review on the Generac web site, we will waive the additional cost. The installation finally was completed, but the system kept failing during the tests. It was determined that they installed the wrong transfer switch, so 3 weeks later they come back and replace it. They tested it and it seemed to work. 2 days late, the system went into fail mode. Now, all this time we have dozens of e-mails going back and forth, heated phone conversations and general discord all around, in fact, at one point the owner told me that I was one of the nastiest & unreasonable clients he ever dealt with. So when I told them that the unit failed again, it was no wonder that they didn't want to come out. After all, they had their money. I hired another company to come in and fix everything. As it turns out, that transfer switch that they replaced - well that was recalled by Generac over a year ago so installing it was either a deliberate attempt to see what they could get away with, or outright incompetence. We also found the firmware to be out of date, but most shockingly, the technicians from the other company found a large blue plastic cap lodged in the fuel intake valve. It may be hard to believe but this is actually the condensed version of the story. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Stay away from this company.
