Storm Door - Repair
Alem showed up on time, was very friendly and courteous, explained the problem and solution to me, and did the work in a timely fashion. He had experience with my project (squaring up an out of plumb and very “screechy” storm door that was quite difficult to open). As far as the actual work goes (as well as all the attributes I mentioned above), I would definitely give him 5 stars - even 10 if that were allowed. The only reason I gave him 4 stars was because I feel his price was too high - about double what I would have expected. Granted, I agreed to the charge beforehand, but I was desperate and there were no other Pros that responded, so I really had no alternative. I would hire him again for other projects, but only at a more reasonable and affordable rate.

It was a pleasure to do business with Alem Construction, LLC. Alem was the first to respond to my request; and he offered same day assembly. I was thrilled because I’d assembled other pieces and it was time consuming. When I saw all the work required for my entertainment unit with a fireplace insert, I set out to find help. Alem arrived when he said he would and he went straight to work. Read the instructions and began an assembly that was well constructed. Alem was a true gentleman and first-class businessman. I highly recommend his services.

He was unable to place the ventilator outside of my bathroom. He told me there was not enough room in my attic for them to install it there, but he could put it on the roof. He told me that was a normal process also and he would fix it so there was no leaking when it rained even though it was on the roof. I agreed and requested he make sure it was sealed to the roof so it would not be a leak, and he agreed and when finished stated there should never be a leak.
