Gary was great to work with, very thorough, explained every detail.

On the scheduled day of install, technition did not show up. On the rescheduled day, he was two hours late. Still waiting for training on system.

This company was VERY easy to work with and the Tech they sent out was excellent. His name was Jose Cisneros, and I found him consistently & distinctly to be exceeding the standards I expected of anyone in that position. His technical ability is far superior to the norm anyone would expect. His performance in customer service was A+ in all areas. I plan on using him again for any future repairs without a doubt. Gary was an awesome installer. Very knowledgeable! He trouble shooted the problem with my alarm system and fixed it with no problem. I would recommend him with no hesitation!!

The bad: The person who did my installation (Gary) was obnoxious, opinionated, and frustrating. He spent too much time telling me that because I’m a woman I need to carry an alarm remote with me everywhere I go in the house, even though I assured him I’m not afraid. He also shared personal opinions about things that I really did not care or want to know about. He was quick and efficient and getting the work done, but it seemed like he could’ve made all of this easier on himself and on me. He was there forever too... a couple hours, which seemed excessive. Furthermore, I was frustrated that no one let me fill out the paperwork myself. They did all of it for me, so it felt like time was wasted on me spelling things like my email address more than once or I had to repeat what I wanted for a security word a few times. It was also shocking that Gary was rude to the customer service people on the phone, he had no patience for them, which wasn’t impressive. Overall, I think I would suggest that they get someone doing the installation who is a bit more appropriate and who doesn’t chit-chat about his opinions in the world. The good: I had a heck of a time with a different security company that the previous house owners were using (tried for 4 weeks to get the alarm set up) and reached out to House Advisor to help me find people who could help. I got set up in a matter of four days after reaching out with Gary and his crew, which was such a relief to me. Plus, despite the excess opinions and all of that from Gary, he did do a good job of setting everything up the way I wanted and seems to genuinely care about me. He gave me his personal number if I ever am in a pinch and need is help, which was thoughtful and went above and beyond what he needed to do. I also appreciated that he didn’t charge me to replace all the batteries or for the remote (even though I didn’t want it). I think he cares, which means I will tolerate some of the irritating stuff because at least he gets the job done and does it well.

Quick response giving us a professional and thorough review of our needs. Very quick turnaround time for installation. Professional installation and, so far, happy with the security system.

All the staff that I encountered was wonderful. Very helpful answered all my question. The install was done very professionally, and he cleaned up after. THANKS!!!!!

not a reliable company

Hired for tech service to install iRing doorbell and trouble shoot DVR security camera. Showed up, after multiple no call backs, with an ADT yard sign in hand! Went to look at DVR explained he is not a tech, picked it up turned it upside down to get the model # and it failed. Now I have no cameras instead of 3. I needed him to trouble shoot the 4th. He departed (taking his ADT yard sign w with him and said his Tech will be in touch to install iRing. Not yet. This was two weeks ago.

They really took the time to figure out the old system and were able to use many parts of it. The whole system now works exactly the I expect an alarm system to work. Great peace of mind.

I set up a consultation appointment for a Monday but they called and were able to come a day early so both my husband and I were able to sit down to discuss our needs. The specialist talked us through a few choices, listened to our needs, explained things in detail, and even put up with our overly affectionate kitten. The install tech was able to do the job just 2 days later, ensuring my home was secure for my next weekend alone in the house (he also put up with my highly affectionate kitty). I highly recommend this company based on their quality of service, promptness of response, friendliness of technicians, and professional demeanor.

Quick response; very professional. They got the job done merging an old wire ADT system with wireless on the windows that were replaced in our home recently. (Installer forgot to pull wires through new windows).

Everyone I had contact with at Alert and Safe Streets is professional, informative and responsive. The system was designed to meet the needs of the customer, installation was on time and accomplished in less than the estimated time frame. Altogether, a very positive experience.

There were a few 'miscommunications' but in the end accommodated me fully, even upgraded upgraded @ no extra cost because of it. That's what I expect, cater to the customer. I'm happy. I have a nice system, installed well, looking nice. Things don't always go according to plan but they made it work. Installer, (Kevin?), was friendly, professional, and helped come up with a solution that suited me in an unconventional home.

Very knowledgeable, both Gary's (One for the estimate, and another for installing the systems) were very good, thorough, and knowledgeable, and really made everything easy and simplified. I've had ADT systems before, but everything they do was done very well and simplified for even those who wouldn't know how to work them. I was impressed that he wrote down any information that I may need for later for not only them, but for ADT, maintenance or otherwise.

The sales rep, Tom was so patient and understanding in working with me to meet my needs. top shelf. Gary the service mgr was awesome, the work was done with precision and neatness ! He work was stellar and very helpful with all questions. I would highly recommend Alert for all your security needs, this company will meet your needs, so refreshing !!
