We hired Alex Drywall LLC in Lacombe, LA come out to move an attic access door in our garage, floor the remaining area in the attic over the garage, as well as paint a garage and two bathrooms. During the work, one of the employees destroyed the neighbor's mailbox. The cost of the mailbox replacement was $320.00 which was paid out of my pocket. Alex Drywall LLC of Lacombe, LA did not complete the work they were paid to perform. The flooring in the attic is incomplete. They did not finish painting the garage. The attic access door was hung improperly and hangs out of the ceiling. They used so much mud to repair the old attic access hole in the sheetrock that the ceiling paint is being absorbed by the mud and needs several more coats of paint. They refuse to come out and fix it. I recommend you stay away from this contractor. They are not trustworthy IMO, leaving you the customer having to pay someone else to finish the work.
