My wife and I would highly recommend Stewart & Sons! They did a wonderful job on replacing our roof. They made sure they were on time to accomodate our schedules and home events and went the extra mile to make sure all debris and trash was cleaned when they were done. The price definitely fit into our budget. We would hire them again for other work as needed for our home. Great value, great work and we are very happy!

1st there was a contract never got around to signing it because there was an extra project added increasing the project cost. The owner was sloppy in getting the updated contract with the updated price and even with the signing. The owner was in over his head from the 1st meet til how he has handled this. This is lengthy is there enough room to type all this. I've explained this to 3 of your representative already. Monday 4/20/26 the job started. The guy was not competent starting out. I called the owner Alex Stewart on that Monday he did come to my property he didn't seem concerned. @ the end of Monday 4/20/26 I could not believe what I saw, no way was this work by this company acceptable. The damage to my property what it looked like before the employee of the company started and what my property looked after no comparison. It was done by someone who didn't know how to do the project. on 4/21/26 Alex Stewart finally came to my property he saw the damage he didn't want to acknowledge any of it. This is for real. I even said is this acceptable? My back door to my yard which I have a dog cannot be accessed f/inside my home Alex Stewart there was a key in the back door which Alex Steward was determined to get out but it broke in the door result was functioning of the lock to open the back door. Calling a locksmith to see if he can get the broke off key out of the back door lock maybe the back door would open that'd be a start. The rest of the project 3 doors a front door/a back door and a garage door are all affected from shoddy work. Brand new bought wood from Home Depot damaged from unnecessary miscalculation of where to drill for screws. 2 steel security doors one for the front door the other the back door damage to the steel framing the door needs to be installed in because the security doors had to be uninstalled to install brand new wood trim that was what the job was installing new wood trim on the front and back doors. The garage door was getting new garage door trim. It was nailed with flat head nails that should've been finishing nails countersinked then filled with filler like a putty then the garage trim would be painted. There was no pattern that was attractive where nails were put in. You had to see it. Back to the new wood trim around the front back door it's just overwhelming trying to explain it. I took pictures. I do not know how to download pictures to show you. I took some 20 pictures. Screws weren't even screwed in straight they were screwed in sideways @ an angle picture what that looked like. Drilling the steel security door I guess a screw was mean for the new hole but never used. Asthetically now I have an ugly hole in the steel you see as soon as you open the door. That frame can't stay. I can't even be sure the rest of the steel security framing can be used. It looks bent. These steel security doors are custom measured and manufactured. There are screws enamel painted actually the security doors are powder coated paint. I might have forgotten a few things. But I have the pictures as proof.

Hired to repair exterior wall around trash can. Alex found more exterior problems. At first felt grateful I found a great contractor. He finished the repair an painting not sure of quality. Noted he put all of his painting trash in my bin. Next day noticed one repair not done called promised Monday its now Friday some showed up for a few minutes was going out to greet them but left and no one has returned or called. Worst contractor ever does not belong on Angie list!!!!!

Was able to get me a quote the same day and came out the next to repair the roof. Was very professional and did a great job getting the project completed quickly. Kept me informed of the progress and took before and after photos to show me what was done. Highly recommend.

Our experience with Alex Stewart Roofing for the roof was nothing short of excellent. It was time for a new roof when I found a leak in one of our house's interior walls. Our original tar and gravel roof, which was installed was in poor condition. I finally came to the conclusion that PVC was the finest material for my roof after conducting a tonne of research. Because of our roof's modest slope, shingles were not a possibility. Our old roof was rebuilt with PVC by Alex Stewart Roofing, who also expertly fixed our gutter problems. The team was professional, and efficient, and ensured that our roofs were working flawlessly. The result: a watertight home and peace of mind. Highly recommend their services!

They are easy to get to when they want to get the job, but after the job is done, there is no access to them. UPDATE 12-3-2020, Finally got ahold him through Home Advisor and he came back and fix the issue. On 12/09/20 Mr. Steward came to the site, he sent me pictures and called me that the leaking problem was fixed. Thank you. I appreciate Mr. Steward efforts hoping that as he stated, the problem was corrected. 1/6/21 he came twice and still has not repaired what we payed for on the roof. We are waiting for him to come for the 3rd time and still hasn't come he ignores my calls and texts, he is ignoring us to do other jobs when its a small fix it wont even take long

A family owed business. Alex and his son Alex are very personable, easy to talk to and friendly. They gave me a thorough description of the work that they did and showed me before and after pictures. Including a 15 year warranty for the work I won’t be worried about future leaks, they will fix them. I will be getting estimates from them for any further repairs I will need in future. I highly recommend using them as contractors for roofing repairs.
