My shower looks beautiful. Although there was a problem with the caulking, Alexander Homes came back to correct the problem until it was done to my satisfaction. Everything is perfect now. I am very happy with all the work that was done. Since the completion of my bathroom, I have used Alexander Homes for a second project at my house.

We had a very large Poplar tree in our back yard, the kind that splits into two trees about half way up. One day our neighbor noticed the tree had begun to spit in half and was going to fall into her property and destroy her fence and pool. After calling many other tree services all of which refused to touch the tree due to the dangerous instalbility, your company came out and figured out how to drop the tree without causing any damage to my property or my neighbors. You are a God Send! After assesing the tree the only way to get it down safely was to also remove another tree. I was not charged for the second tree. I paid exactly what I was quoted. First estimate was out of our ballpark, but they impressed us so much we went back to try a revision. They helped us come up with a much better plan at a price we could afford. They are extremely willing to work with you, offer good suggestions and alternatives. The crew was amazing. They were working on the basement so NEVER were seen in the upstairs living areas. Even while working, my basement was never cleaner (except during the sheet rock experience!). They clean up after every days work. They work hard, are timely, pleasant, and I feel VERY comfortable with them in my house, even when we are not there. The project is nearing completion and it has exceeded all our dreams. WELL WORTH THE MONEY and all in all a very enjoyable experience.

The timely response was amazing - less than 10 minutes after submitting my request for contact which was on a Saturday. The estimate was completed by 8:30 the following Monday. The process was clear and Mr. Mahoney and his staff were very friendly and maintained great communication throughout the process. They performed the work promptly and the quality is great. I have and continue to recommmend Alexander Homes to my neighbors and friends. Although the roof repair to my house was minor, I would not hesitate to hire Mr. Mahoney for bigger projects.

Alexander Homes made the process of having a deck built very easy. Brian and his employees were very professional and punctual while completing the work. In addition to the deck, I also had Brian look at some minor repairs around the house and he was very accommodating and affordable. Communication was very good throughout the process and I will plan on using Alexander Homes in the future.

I have a mixed review. The estimate and response to my initial request were very fast and courteous. However, the work crew that installed my replacement windows left much to be desired. The first problem was that they began to install the outside framing prior to insulating the windows. When I pointed this out, the foreman blamed one of his workers for jumping the gun, but then had to leave for 45 minutes to pick up the insulation. After they finished, I found two windows where inside caulking was already developing holes. I told the foreman and he came in and re-caulked the windows. One window was installed crooked and had to be straightened prior to the crew leaving. Cleanup was very spotty, with caulk containers left in the house, outside on a window and in the shrubs next to the house. I had to carry these things out while the crew stood and watched me. They did not clear their lunch garbage from my patio table, and again I had to remove this garbage. Finally, they left an old window upstairs that I had to carry down. Overall, the crew was quite non-professional about cleanup, and this makes me very nervous about the weatherproofing and installation of the windows.

The owner of Alexander Homes is a very personable man. He is friendly, honest, fair, and down to earth man. He did quite a few small jobs for me and he made me feel that I did not have to worry about anything, his crew would do it all. His crew even went out to purchase items that I probably should have. (He may have been giving me an exception because I am chronically ill?) That just shows what a wonderful caring man he is. When we were first going through the home and going over the list of things that I wanted him to possibly do, he noticed some things, IE; Empire Carpet had put in new carpet and he spotted errors and fixed them for free.

It has been a great pleasure working with Brian Mahoney and his company on my roof replacement job. As soon as I had submitted my request I got his phone call and he came out to see my house that afternoon. My original roof was very old and replacing it turned up a couple surprises, which Brian and his crew took care of immediately with the highest level of craftmanship and professionalism, which I greatly appreciate. The result is absolutely beautiful! Alexander Homes is one of the few contractors I can highly recommend, and I will no doubt request them on future projects. Thanks!!
