Great work not expensive and are great at what they do

I was hesitant to replaster my pool for years although it was overdue. When i met Alex I was impressed with the details he provided and his easy nature sales style. He spent time going thru the details of each process and the time frame. Different crews came to work on each phase of the work but they were all efficient, professional, worked long hours and cleaned up. I have a beautiful new clear pool now and would not hesitate to contact him in the future.

Alex is a good man, followed the contract+ gave concessions on unforeseen repairs. Answered my calls, scheduling was great, the price was right. I highly recommend Alex snd Shell Sea pool remodel. Thank you Alex, your demo, plumbing, and plaster crew are awesome. Good job !

Alex was great with communication. Stages of job were completed in timely manner. The crews were good to work with and cleaned up nicely when done.

I have previously left a review praising Alex and his team at Shell Sea?s. Since I left a great review, Alex has flipped a complete 180 and has been non-responsive and hasn?t finished up the final details on our pool remodel. He was suppose to replace all of the trim between cement and coping and is now not responding. We still can?t figure out how to plug in our new vacuum to keep the pool maintained. I am very disappointed in Alex since he received his final payment and can no longer recommend him and his team to anyone. Go find someone else to remodel your pool. Don?t get sucked into his charisma and quick action the way we did. He only wants your money and will peace out on your project so quickly.

We needed to resurface our pool and put out a request for bids. Alex was the first to come out (within a few days) and showed us lots of samples and options. After two more bids, we went with Alex Sell Seas Pools and Spas as he had the best pricing and was ready to get started right away. His crews worked hard to get it done quick, and correctly, and fix the hidden issues so this resurface job would last for years. We are very happy with the final result!

We have a small pool spa combo with an overhanging faux rock waterfall. Everything was is serious need of a refresh. We contacted Alex and a few other contractors for this job, and one told me the job was too small for his time. This really set Alex apart because he was quick to contact us and schedule, had plenty of excellent reviews (well earned I can now attest). He scoped the project and gave me a bid that seemed fair, especially when I knew what my neighbor recently paid someone else. Alex didn’t try to upsell, his team was available in a week for demo, waterfall was repaired and restrained. Pebble was installed and we are very happy with his quality of work, his professionalism, and his communication. If you’re looking for a pool remodel, I’d absolutely recommend you give Alex an opportunity to bid your project.

We hired Alex and his team at Shell Sea’s Pools and Spas to refinish our pool. My father had recently passed, and had been ill and unable to take care of the pool the last 3 years. The pool that held so many of our precious memories needed as much TLC as we did as we processed his loss. Amongst the chaos of cleaning his belongings, planning a funeral, and grieving the loss our of husband and father, Alex was not only meticulous, explaining every detail with the expertise and reassurance we needed, but treated us as family; something that meant so much to us in our time of grief. He’s prompt to respond, meet you where you are at, and show up for you every step of the way and every way he can. Alex Shell Sea Pool Company I have hired many contractors in the past and most are top 10, Alex Shell Sea Pool Company is #1. He sets the bar High. We had our 21 year old pool upgraded to mini pebble tech from 3M plaster. Alex is extremely personable and knowledgeable. His professionalism far exceeded our expectations. His company was on time on every aspect of our rebuild. Once we signed the contract Alex had is Demolition crew out here in 2 days. The crew showed up on time and completed the demo portion in One day as promised. The crew was so respectful of our property and whenever we had questions, they were so accommodating in answering all our inquiries. One week later the plaster and prep crew showed up. Again, on time and also so respectful of our property. My wife worked with them to position all our extra mosaic tiles from the smallest fish to the large turtles, and gave her the utmost respect. Next day the clean and polished crew opened up the pool. We are so satisfied

The pool came out great. Alex was reasonable and treated me fairly and the crews he used were a pleasure to deal with. Alex was also very available with any questions or concerns. Definitely recommend him.

I signed the contract for replastering my pool for $9,300 with Alex on April 4, 2025. All the contractors talked about the length of the project to be 2 – 3 weeks. The payment terms were 50% upon demo, and 50% upon completion. I left the time of completion empty, because naively I thought that they would be eager to complete the job. My ratings are: Price 5 star; Quality of work 5 star; scheduling of work 2 star. Average rating 4 star. Alex was eager to do the demo, because this triggers the first 50% payment. Demo was done on April 16, 2025. We also amended the contract to install new lights ($1,200) and replacement of Deck O Seal ($1,800). New contract price $12,300. My payment of $6,150 on April 16, 2025. The value of the Demo may be about $3,000. I therefore had now paid about $3,000 in advance. Waiting and waiting. Alex is texting: Out of town, mother in hospital and then two weeks later: death in family. Ok, I expressed understanding ---- full review on the attached jpg.

The work done was fast and efficient. The technician was very knowledgeable and the price was very competitive. I will highly recommend these people for any pool repairs or installation.

Pool looks beautiful, upgraded pool plumbing, poured new concrete walkway. Explained the process. Hard workers.
