Alison River is a remarkably talented interior decorator who was the miraculous angel who took it upon herself to create a personal sanctuary in my home after a broken pipe led to a flood and a need to recreate my bedrroom, bathroom, closets, floors, and more. What was a nightmarish burden turned into a joyful adventure where my fondest dreams became realities. Alison has a delightful personality who made me feel like I was royalty!! She offered a generous amount of her time to get to know me in such detail that she got to know my taste in every facet of my life . For example, she created gorgeous pillow to go with lovely chairs that included my favorite colors, patterns, and even personal hobbies. Alison also offered excellent guidance to help me find the right vendors for each step of the way. With respect to the cost of working with Alison, while I do not know what other decorators charge, I can only say that her prices were fair and that I felt that every penny was more than well worth it. My home went from "ordinary" to "spectacular under her guidance!!!!!" I do not have enough adjectives to cover the range of Alison's extraordinary talents. She is a gift, and a treasure. Alison River Interiors helped us take a very ugly kitchen and make it a magnificent space. From floor to ceiling, our kitchen now has clean lines, calming colors, and timeless charm. Her creative suggestions for wood accents, hardware choices, tile, and light fixtures really brought the space together. Alison takes the time to get to know you and build a space that fits your preferences and style. We hired her again and she took our cobbled-together entry and living room and helped flip it into a warm, cozy, and inviting space. Our desire was to brighten the rooms and incorporate a Scandinavian style with touches of the Southwest. Alison delivered flawlessly. From furniture, rugs, pillows, vintage accessories, and unique decor, she created a bright, beautiful, and practical space that we will enjoy for years to come. If you have never worked with an interior designer before, it is so worth it. I should have done it long ago! Alison communicates well, is a good listener, and made the process fun. I highly recommend Alison River Interiors as she was a joy to work with and exceeded our expectations.

We hired Alison to design our bedroom remodel after working with her on our living area renovation. Her ability to identify our tastes and then source furnishings to match is amazing. We now have a warm, comfortable and esthetically pleasing bedroom that brings joy to us each day. She is so easy to work with, and stays with the project from start to finish, making sure each detail is completed.

We began working with Alison near the end of our kitchen remodel, which was turning into a total living area remodel. Our remodeling team did a great job, but when it came to where to put our furniture, and if should we keep our furniture, and where to hang our artwork, we were stymied! We interviewed several interior designers, but Alison immediately stood out when she contacted us the day after we interviewed her to tell us her thoughts about our backsplash tile choices, even though we hadn’t hired her yet. Her idea was absolutely on target, and that helped us decide to use her as our design specialist. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with her as we moved through the completion of our project. Cheerfully collaborative and enthusiastic, Alison presented several alternatives for consideration in every decision. The final product is nothing less than stunning, and the process was so easy once Alison took charge. The day she brought in our new furniture and hung our artwork with her team felt like an HGTV home renovation episode! We have been so pleased with our final project that we have engaged Alison to help us update and decorate our bedrooms and study. We know our final product will be a home we can relax in as well as enjoy showing off!

Alison was so amazing!! She was always there for me anytime I had a question night or day!!! She captured the exact look I wanted, Alison has such an amazing sense of how to use colors. She listens to what you want and your needs and was very affordable. She made sure my design was functional, elegant and stylish!! . I canâ t wait to start my next project with her!
