"This is our response to a Mr. Steven Brooks complaint. All About Fence installed a very quality fence for the person in question. A few people out of four hundred jobs per year seem to try a "scam" the hardworking businesses so let?s respond to the questions that Steven has. It seems that a few issues were addressed but his response to our employees and company were not mentioned in his complaint. 1. The sales rep never takes final payment until both parties are happy, which is why it took Mr. Steven 4 days to pay his final bill for the fence. Per his request, he wanted a couple of days to overlook the entire job and then submit final payment via credit card over phone. 2. The huge grass rut (approx. 6 feet long and approx. a width of a tire wide) was fixed to the best of our ability and $200 was discounted from the final bill for the inconvenience per the homeowners request. Steven forgot to mention that part that in his negative complaint towards our company. Also, we should mention that Mr. Brooks had a few choice words towards one of our employees via text to the sales rep regarding this situation. 3. The fence panels were unwrapped onsite after they had been received straight from our vendor and were touched up to his standards the next day when two employees returned to fix a gate to his liking and touch up the panels. Steven forgot to mention this in his complaint as well. 4. The fence was installed on the property lines given. Mr. Brooks failed to mention that he is the one that wanted the fence right next to the neighbor due to the fact of him telling our head installer exactly where he would like it installed before a contract was written. 5. We are not an irrigation company and do not move sprinkler heads or anything of that nature. Obviously we have seen numerous sprinkler lines and heads in the numerous projects that we?ve done over the years but have always asked the homeowner to take care of this by calling their sprinkler company and asking them to place flags in their yard before we proceed with our project. 6. Our fence is installed to follow the contour of the ground. Whether it be steel, wood, chain-link, or any other fence that our top professionals have been installing for a number of years, we have and will continue to do quality work at an affordable price. In closing, the last item that we would like to bring up is what was mentioned as a "Houdini Act", which would be saying that we disappeared before the job in question was complete. If this were anywhere near the truth, which it is not, why did it take 4 days (as stated above) to pay the final payment? The point of this is that the job was completed, the bill was paid, and Mr. Brooks wanted more work done for nothing. When it did not go "his way", he began to post negative reviews online while also making up the most ridiculous lies about our company."
"Per contracted (120ft of residential 4' tall galvanized chain link 2 walk gates ) all residential 48" tall chain link fence posts are always standard .055 walled posts period Since the home-owner wanted to cheat businesses out of money we instead gave him what he wanted, which are only used on commercial installs ( which he didn't know what he was talking about). We dropped shipped new posts and still installed per our contracted scheduled date. Also we installed two 12' double drive gates and we didn't even up charge for this ( additional $500 increase ). Some people just want to screw people and scam business and will never make them happy nor do they live a happy life. If you are wanting to do work for Mr. Kevin G. [Consumer name withheld at their request], don't. He will try and will scam anyone he hires to get work done for him. Thanks."
