I am a disabled Veteran I paid $9,500 resurface the existing driveway. After fourteen grass started growing through the driveway. To date I measured 12 inch tall 3 feet on width of the road grass and weeds. I did not get what I paid for. Edward Brewer contractor refuses refund money or fix the road.

"I thank you for your service to our country but your not telling the truth. You flagged me down when you saw the signs on my truck l looked at your driveway and we made an agreement . When the job was complete you gave me a check and it was deposited. You called a day or two later to inform me you stopped payment. I went back to your home and when I arrived you would not come answer the door you called the police the office and I came to the door and you came out saying you were not paying me . Then you gave me a check for half . I was told that day by the officer not to come on your property without your permission and I never heard from you"

Asphalt Paving Installation
Please read this post on Jan.11,2019 after a wet winter and on-going rains, we had All American Asphalt come out and lay a new asphalt driveway. The bobcat driver removed all the gravel (EXISTING ROAD BASE) from my drive-way which left a soft depression with unstable soil. The rock they brought was in a small dump truck not enough to make a solid base prior to the asphalt topping. the bobcat driver then proceeded to strip the road base from the county road just outside our property lines. eight hours later, four laborers showed up and they proceeded to put down asphalt, but the ground was so soft that they had to pack it by foot and could not use a steel roller. when it finally cured enough to drive on, it started to sink in and crack to which it has now fallen apart completely. I have tried to text the owner and now he will not respond and or call to come out and fix his mistakes. Their work is spotty at best and I am out a fair bit of money and left with a mess that its 10x worse than before this all started.

They spread the dirt removed in front of my front yard fence and made ruts and a huge 50 mud hole. 50 ! To their credit it WAS a wet month and muddy to begin with. But it should have never been spread out. Poor judgement. The asphalt job itself was ok though. I wish this site would let me post pics so I could show everyone.

After they take your money, you are no longer any interest to them. The first time I used the driveway I sunk in about, and they will not respond to my concerns.

They came out to measure the driveway, offered a great price which included replacing our damaged culvert. They arrived on time, began leveling the driveway and started the asphalt process immediately. Very professional company with top of the line equipment. Edward supervised throughout the process to be sure I got exactly what I was wanted. The entire team were polite and friendly. Thanks so much guys, the driveway is fantastic. I want to give an extra shout out to "Metro" who really gives it his all, heart and soul and does it with a smile. What a hard working man!! Edward and the crew got everything done that was promised and then some! I wanted the flower bed in my yard totally removed and at the last minute decided to keep some of the rose bushes and stepping stones. Metro dug up four rose bushes by hand and moved my heavy concrete stepping stones for me before the rest was bull dozed flat. Really Above and beyond. The driveway was finished professionally including a new culvert, with hand tapped edges looking clean and finished. As an unexpected bonus, when there was left over asphalt, Edward had the guys fill some potholes in a neighboring property, truly above and beyond here!!They left the yard clean of debris and trash. I would certainly recommend the without hesitation. Thank you All American Asphalt!!! I love my new paved driveway and walkway. Shari W

I'm sorry I haven't come and given you a fine price on that part yet, but this is paving season- our busiest time of the year. While your job is just as important to us as a loyal customer, please be patient with us. We usually do most of our seal coating in the fall. I will be getting in contact with you in the next few weeks to come take care of it for you and I will give you a discount for being patient. Thank you."

In August 2018, I paid $11,000 to have a new asphalt driveway installed beginning with excavation. The job was completed in 11 hours. It looked beautiful. There were, however, concerns about drainage. Next day it rained and the concerns regarding drainage were confirmed. Water was trapped in the yard and the water's only pathway out was now covered with asphalt. In fact, as water collected in the trapped-in area, it could only flow back over the newly asphalted parking area. After several telephone discussions over a period of six weeks with All American Asphalt, the contractor I hired for this job, Mr. Brewer, abruptly announced a visit to my property to "fix" all of my problems. Unfortunately, his only solution was to patch over certain areas, and, even more unfortunate, was that, that "fix" caused even more water to back up onto the asphalt. We have had a lot of rain, and water standing on asphalt causes the asphalt to soften and allow even more water to penetrate faster causing premature deterioration. This is just one concern. There are numerous areas where water is puddling on the driveway. Can you believe that these guys moved poured and flattened asphalt from one area to another part of the driveway to fill it in? The sealcoat is another story. It cost me $1,400. It washed off four hours after it was installed by a heavy rain. The product that was used killed hundreds of earthworms and attracted swarms of strange looking flies.
