They didn't have a switch for the fan/light they installed and told me to go get one. They wouldn't help me with installing the switch and wanted another $150 to come out to hook up a couple of wires. I was also supposed to get a 10% discount for using Home Advisor and I never got it. Very disappointing experience.
Response by All American Electrical of North Florida, Inc.: I apologize you feel this way, we have to charge by the trip/hourly. When I scheduled your service call you asked us to replace your light on your porch with a ceiling fan. When we replace an existing light with a ceiling fan and there is only one switch we wire it the same. There was no additional switch asked for when the call was scheduled. We would have to charge you for another service call to return. I even offered to not charge you for a trip fee if we came back out. Unfortunately, we can not come and add a switch without charging the customer as we have to pay overhead for the employee's being there. I issued a refund for the $15.00 the day we were there back to your same card you used. I am sorry you had a bad experience as I have done everything I am capable of doing. Have a great day!

I designed/contracted 3 custom homes in Atlanta, so I know the importance of finding a good subcontractor. This was my first time using Home Advisor since moving to Florida, and I was very impressed with the ease of the app, and timely response from All American Electrical which was 5-10 minutes on a Saturday. Erika asked all the right questions, provided a general quote, and we set the appointment for the following Tuesday. She followed up to confirm, and her team was right on time - even a few minutes early! Great workmanship, and awesome overall experience! I will hire them again.

I got a very prompt response when I contacted them. The workmen did a good job of repairing things and diagnosed a bad light fixture. Price was a little high, but considering what I've paid for lesser quality work, I am very satisfied

All American Electrical was able to come out within 24 hours of my call. They were very prompt, efficient, and did a great job. They were not like other companies trying to mystery charge or upscale. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future if needed.
