I am saving up the money to have this done but I am very impressed with what I saw and the fact that they have a very good warrantee and it is transferred to a new owner if I should sell the property later on.

Short version: All American Gutter Protection has not addressed warranty and installation issues and has not, to date, resolved water flow issues or attempted to schedule a fix. They are requesting $750 more to address an issue not discovered at installation. Water flows behind and over gutter guards during rainfall. All American Gutter Protection installed guards in May 2022. Installers showed up without proper materials and had to reschedule. A long piece of gutter fell 30 feet off the roof during installation. The seams were not sealed as promised because of rainfall. New technology returned in October to seal seams. April 2023's hard rainfall showed the failure of guards to allow rain to flow into gutters. Tech indicates (after 2 no-show appointments) that guards are covered with debris and clears guards of debris. It also states that the gutters are set too high, the shingles are too short, and there is no drip edge on my roof, thereby preventing rain from flowing into the gutter through the guard. Hard rainfall The following weekend, after guards were cleared of debris, showed the same issues: water flowing behind gutters and over gutters, and seams were leaking. To date, a back and forth between JR Fells, the NC install manager, and Michael, who works at the national branch headquarters in Ohio, has failed to try and schedule repairs for the issues found by the tech in April. They want me to pay $750 more for drip edges for their guards to function properly. Michael tells me I have a roof issue, not a gutter issue. Michael says they are not roofers. At installation, they replaced two pieces of fascia and want to install the drip edge, which is part of the roof. Michael claims all their installers are trained, but the original installers did not see the issues that would later be found by a different tech. Jr. and Michael tell me they charge to clean the guards off, but at install, I was told it would be done at no charge anytime I needed it done. Over the last almost 3 weeks, I have left multiple messages on customer service voicemail as no one has answered the phone, and my calls have not been returned in the 24 hour time period that the voicemail box indicates they will be returned. Texts to JR Fells and Michael also go unanswered for days. Meanwhile, water continues to pour between the gutters and my home, not into the gutters, during multiple heavy rainfall events over the past couple weeks.

We chose All American for a simple, small project on our home. Our house is new construction, less than 3 years old, a ranch style, and we wished to upgrade from 4 inch to 6 inch gutters using the existing downspouts. Nothing was wrong with our gutters, we simply wanted gutters that could handle heavy rains without overflowing. The estimator that quoted the project only weeks before was no longer with the company when we called to accept the quote and schedule the work. A crew showed up to carry out the work as scheduled, however as soon as it rained, it was clear that the gutters were not functioning, with spurting leaks at the corners and water running down the siding of our home. This is when we learned that All American is not a local company, but located out of state. We called, and had a difficult time getting a response. We learned that work crews are not affiliated with the company. All American seems to function on a â gig-workâ model like Uber drivers, farming out jobs to local contractors. This, combined with poor communication, results in lack of oversight and accountability and lax attention to quality. There is a local office address listed, but a drive over there revealed that it is a shared-workspace office, not a gutter company location (no workshop/supplies/materials/crews/fleet). A different contractor was sent to address our issues. The â fixâ involved applying lots of caulk, which was not an acceptable solution and did not remedy the problem. Additionally, the gutters and downspouts were scratched and bent by the worker. Overall our project was worked on four times by 3 different contractors. The final contractor, SQH Seamless Gutters, removed everything, replaced defective sections and properly reinstalled the gutters and applied touch up paint to the scratches. The gutters are now functioning properly, but instead of brand new we have gutters that were scratched and painted. We do not recommend All American, and wish we had worked directly with SQH from the start.

When I read neighbors complain about other gutter companies I was blessed that I selected All American gutters to do my work. One year later when I had a drip, they came out immediately. Couldnâ t ask for a better company and employees who know what they are doing!
