All American Solar Rocks! I was scammed by another solar company that went bankrupt after a class action suit against them. I tried numerous solar companies to enable monitoring for mys system, none would touch it as they did not do the installation. I called All American Solar first speaking to Libby in the service Department and later to Steve, one of the owners, and after a conversation, and providing him with details of the equipment I have, he agreed to come out. He did so with a tech named Cole. They thought they had the parts needed but since my scammed inverter was an old one, it did not have WIFI. What was needed was a line from my inverter going into my garage to a WIFI extender. Cole came out the next week to complete the job. I now have monitoring of how much my system is producing! It was not an easy task for All American as they do not use the equipment the scammers installed. They needed to contact the customer service department of the manufacturer of my inverter. In spite of the difficulty, they did a great job.

Very professional. Completed job early. Walked us through the process, helped us to understand the system and keep track of the results.

The owners are personally involved in the business and have very high standards for their work and product. Top quality materials and expert installation. They are very deliberate and quick but they do high quality work. Solar is a complex decision system and marginal return on the investment but these folks are the best in the business.

They have excellent knowledge of their products and are very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. They were able to install our 40 panel system in one day and did quality work at the same time. The follow up person was really excellent and very helpful explaining how the system works and what I should look for should something go wrong which he said is not likely. Sometimes they showed up a little late for an appointment but otherwise excellent service. That is the only reason I gave the customer service rating a 4 1/2. Everything else is perfect. I highly recommend American Solar to anyone looking for a quality solar system.

There are a lot of details. This complaint is about All American Solar, LLC. The solar company initially told us we needed 10.1kW worth of power. After that, they came back several times and said we could cut cost and go with 8kW if we also did insulation, a solar hot water heater, and an AC unit. We did. Through this process, we ended up with 3 separate contracts, a whole lot of confusion, and only one valid contract (the initial one with all of our signatures). None of the other contracts had all of the information or signatures on them. When they got us financing, we were approved by dividing it 3 ways. One went on our property taxes, one was a direct loan, and one was a loan with 18 months of no interest/payments as long as we applied our 30% solar tax rebate to the loan. The issue is that there is no such thing as a solar tax rebate - it's a credit. I didn't know this, the solar company didn't tell me this, and the bank apparently didn't know this. Because I have NEVER owed money on my taxes, I always get a refund. So the tax credit would be worthless to me. This means that as of today, we are paying between $500 and $600 a month for our energy (accounting for all 3 loans, plus the amount we still have to pay FPL because of the improperly sized system). Considering we were told that we'd have a $0 energy bill after this system was installed, we cannot believe that we are facing such huge costs; or that we were taken advantage of because of our ignorance in such a way. I'm not an electrician, engineer, or some other professional that knows these things - I depend on honest professionals to advise me, and they took us for a ride that is robbing us of our peace of mind. The installation began in November, and was not completed until January or February. But during that process, we ended up with a flooded master bedroom closet, which left a lot of damage to our drywall and items in boxes. They also cut out a section of our living room wall to install the hot water heater. This left wires and a light switch exposed. They never repaired or compensated us for any of this. We fixed the drywall and dealt with the water damage ourselves, and then put a 2x4 up in the living room to block the light switch (that wall is still damaged). They did, however, replace a small shelf that had been destroyed by the water damage. From day one our panels have not worked properly. The electronics have never been updated accurately, there have been multiple inverter and solar panel issues, etc. In the end, we haven't even seen the system perform like it should. We have been communicating with them regularly - trying desperately to reach a resolution. However I believe they simply don't want to deal with us or take us seriously. The fact that they switched us around and tricked us with 3 different contracts, lied to us to get us to sign a financing agreement, and then left our home damaged and blew us off for 18 months is horrific
