Replacement of double-layer shingle roof. Senior project coordinator, Gregg Embley, is provably experienced, confident and proactive, making contact and arrangements with my insurance company himself. He gave good advice and remained in contact throughout the process. His team members did a great job as well.

Project Manager Thomas Fisher and All Around did a great job...start to finish! Personable, patient with all my questions, and top quality. They also did a great clean up job! Thanks much! Rick M.

At first they were great at communicating everything that was going to happen. I submitted my claim in August was told my work would be completed by the end of October. The work finally started in December and everything was finished by January. The project manager was hard to communicate with and did not always respond to my messages. There were several times I had to call the office directly to get him to respond to me. As far as I know the roof is complete and done. All the work they did was great it just took forever to get it done. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the company necessarily, I think they just have so much work that it’s hard to keep up with and they are not great at communicating. If you use this company you definitely need to stay on them and keep your project moving.
Response by All Around Roofing and Exteriors, Inc.: All Around Roofing & Exteriors regrets the poor and at times lack of communication to you. We strive and expect much better from our Project Managers. This project was based, like so many others, on storm related damages, and had to go through a lengthy insurance related process called supplementing. While the original claim was dated August, USAA, did not approve the supplement request, for the work they failed to cover initially, until October. Once that occurred, we contracted with you. While we dealt with weather and trade related delay's, the project finished and was final invoiced to USAA, for all final funds to be released, in February. These insurance related claims take time and patience. But I want you to know, we are sincerely sorry for the lack of communication throughout the process. You and all of our customers deserve better and should expect better. Thank you for letting us know about your experience, so we can get better each and every day.

Paper filing not completed. Agreed to fix a pillar. Not done.
Response by All Around Roofing and Exteriors, Inc.: All Around Roofing submitted the necessary paperwork to the homeowner's insurance company on January 7. This was the second time we sent the requested documentation and the funds were released to the homeowner on January 11. We have also submitted rebate requests to GAF and supplied that confirmation information to the homeowner. This was also completed in early January. We certainly apologize for any miscommunication, but the review is simply not accurate and encourage the homeowner to reach out to our office if she has any questions.

Review by Kristina G. in Brighton, CO
We hired this company August 2018 for roof, siding , skirting, gutters and interior damage from the softball size hail storm. As of today we are still dealing with these people. This company lacks communication skills and makes decisions the homeowner does not agree on. When you hold them accountable for issues, they call you a Problem Homeowner. We have documentation showing what we ordered and yet they put on what they desired including the incorrect color. The only time you hear from them is when you have received money and state your going to hold onto it until someone communicates. You have to keep on them in order to continue to get work done. The only reason we are still with them is because they agreed to take care of all the issues which makes it easier for us to deal with our Lien Holder's requests. I have never seen or heard of a company that the Manager ( Kevin) of the sales consultant ( Chris) does not even communicate with the homeowners on what the problems are. This company tells you what you want to hear upfront, but in the end does an entire 180 and makes decisions without consulting. Example - we have documentation stating we wanted the 5" Lap siding and instead we received 4" Dutch Lap siding. We immediately notified the sales consultant of this error ( since he did confirm the original request) and stated would look into but in the end now states" We are not replacing the siding". I have been told they know everything but in fact they no nothing. I work for a company that handles insurance and apparently we are wrong according to the sales consultant, my sister in law works in banking for 15 years and apparently she is wrong , my husband's cousin works in construction and apparently he is wrong when is comes to providing proper customer service and doing the work the way the homeowner wants. All Around Roofing does not give a care in the world about the homeowner, only what they can make from the insurance using the cheapest possible products. They also damaged some of my personal property and damages to the home in which I show documentation I get the response" there are no errors" even though the proof is staring at them right in the face. I will never recommend this company and discourage anyone who does. If you think about hiring them, please consult me as I have so much documentation of the problems they have given my family I want to make sure no one goes through the same thing. Not only am I notifying Home Advisor, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and all the news stations with my story. Beware of this company, nothing but liars and do not respect the homeowner's wishes. I was told by the sales consultant Chris he would schedule the 18th /19th on January to repair the skirting issue and get it up to code along with the other repairs which I detail
Response by All Around Roofing and Exteriors, Inc.: All Around Roofing certainly regrets the poor experience and we have been working with the homeowner to get her issues resolved. From the beginning, we have agreed to take care of the property that was damaged during the installation of the roof. Unfortunately, these things to happen sometimes during construction and we will always make it right when brought to our attention. I understand that homeowners want things done a certain way, however, we work from, and most of our contracts are based on, the insurance scope. All Around Roofing never agreed to upgrade Kristina's siding. When possible we use the highest quality materials, however, insurance only pays to replace the same type of material that existed prior to the damage. In this case, we did upgrade a 3 tab roof to a Class 4 shingle, plastic gutters to aluminum, and plastic domed skylights to Velux mounted skylights- all on our dime and to ensure a quality end product. We will continue working with the homeowner through the insurance and mortgage process to make sure that goes as smoothly as possible, and as we have offered before, members of our management and ownership staff are open to meeting with the homeowner in person anytime to discuss past and ongoing issues.

The roof itself was done very well. They promised to replace my skylights, but never did and eventually told me to find another contractor. Although the roof was well done the work continues for me to find yet another contractor to replace skylights.

They left nails and trash in my yard, and oil stains on my driveway. They knocked a hole in my new siding. They were supposed to replace the old deck boards, but instead placed the new ones on top of the old ones.
Response by All Around Roofing and Exteriors, Inc.: The correct way for a re-deck on a re-roof is to go over the existing decking This is the city code requirements if there is bad decking or space decking. This is also the way the manufacturer specs call for on a redeck. All Around Roofing and Exteriors goes by all manufacture specs and city codes. If you as a homeowner wants us to do it differently and not go by city code or manufacture specs we will not do that. I apologize if this upsets you for but we pull the permit with the city and it is our license on the line and we want to make sure it is done the correct way to code and manufacturer requirements.
