All Finished Construction

Very poor at responding to communication. I had my driveway poured June 23rd, and the leftover dirt pile is STILL sitting in my yard today, July 26th, even though I've asked several times when they're coming to get it. They responded last week they'd be here Thursday or Friday- no show. It's now the following Tuesday. I messaged yesterday morning, saying when they came to get the dirt, would they check a crack that I had just noticed that goes all the way across my walkway. No response. I also had to threaten a bad review (since they already had my money) to get them to come seal the driveway & cut stress lines a week after they said they'd be back to do it. Also, the father of the business owner initiated communication about my project, estimated the project, and was good at communication, until he and the son had a falling-out, he became rude and told me not to contact him anymore. The driveway and patio look nice, but that crack so soon after installation concerns me. My neighbors are getting tired of the dirt pile in my yard, as am I. I made the mistake of paying in full the day the concrete was poured- lesson learned! As soon as they got their money, the customer service was history!! I haven't even received my receipt for the 2nd half of the amount due- which I've also asked for 3 times. The only immediate response I got was when I noticed the walkway had dried concrete on the sides, which wouldn't allow for my new fence post installation- he did come out the next day and cut that off. But it should have never been poured without boards on the sides, as they knew when the project was quoted that my intention was to put a gate over that walkway and they knew the gate width. I also mentioned that falling away concrete when they poured it- that it had to flat on the sides. If you hire this company, prepare for little to no communication, and a big dirt pile in your yard for at least a month! It appears I'll have to try to find another company that I'll have to pay to come haul that away- and likely fix the crack that's already in my concrete, less than a month after it was poured!
