Rob responded promptly September 1st, 2017, charged $175 for 1 hr checking all my home accordion shutters for proper operation. Took a check for cash- no credit cards accepted. Stated only 2 rods ($10 each" and "4 locking screws" were needed, Took my email promising to send an invoice for the visit, plus an order form for the needed parts, while promising to return in a few days to install the parts. He said the followup should only be $70 for labor plus the cost of parts since I'd already paid the $175. During the visit he mentioned current activity installing impact windows on high-rise somewhere in Miami. Perhaps he was preparing his excuse not to come back. The invoice & order form were never received. I contacted Rob twice more in September, the last time on 9/26. when he requested my email again each time- sent to him again each time by text message. No response by Rob to voicemail messages at his number in October. During my last contact with company on October 2nd partner Adrian called Rob who told Adrian he was busy elsewhere, but would "send someone next week" , and that the followup visit would now cost $350 to replace "LOCKS". Locks are NOT NEEDED- only the 4 small locking screws. Rob has either forgotten or lost the notes he took September 1st, or is demonstrating a pattern of deception with customers. He has not responded to voicemails to his personal phone in October. I read a review by another customer stating he had a better chance of a personal call from Trump than a followup response from Rob. AVOID! NOTE- This is my first bad experience with a Home Advisor Pro. All the others have been excellent.
