I hired AIM to come to my house on June 25th to see why my central air was not working. The tech went into my attic and said my drain pan was full and slanted so it tripped the automatic shut off. He told me that he moved the pan to a different level and so the shut-off switch would enable the unit to run again. I paid him and he left. Within a couple of days, I began to notice water stains below the unit slowly seeping through my ceiling. I contacted Jeff the owner of AIM, asking to have a different tech come out and fix it or refund my money. He told me that it was not his techs fault that I now had six-foot water stains on my ceiling, but that he would contact his worker and call me back... I have since called him 4 times and he has yet to call me back. I hired someone else who emptied the drain pan (which should have been done the first day) and also looked and found a clog in the drain line leaving the house. The AIM technician spent 20 minutes at my house, only tilted the pan causing severe water damage on my ceiling, took my check, and left... But even more frustrating is the owner of the company would not even return phone calls even after he said he would get right back to me. Will never call this company again and highly discourage anyone to use them for anything. They DO NOT stand by their work at all.

I paid over $10,000 to have them install a brand new HVAC system in my house when I did a second story extension. Turns out... it was a mistake to use them. I had them install brand new $200 ecobee thermostats ($400 total) with the new installation. In the first year I had nothing but problems with the unit frying the stats over and over after ecobee was very accommodating and providing me with replacements each time. Sure enough after my 1 year warranty on the stats they still kept having problems. Jeff tells me it is not his fault and continues to blame the ecobee product. Finally, I said fine I will spend another $400 to get the Honeywell stats that he recommended, and I said if the ecobee were the problem then I will give him $400 to come and install the Honeywell's. Once the guy got to my house the HVAC unit was doing the EXACT same thing, it was not until finally they put a transducer separately to power the stats. It was shorting out the Honeywell units initially proving that it was not the ecobee fault. Had that been done from the start I would not have had to spend an extra $400 on stats but of course Jeff and his team could not figure it out for over a year. Now they want me to pay the $400, and because I refused they have been harassing me calling my phone over and over and over. Not to mention Jeff somehow hacked my system and shut off my current system which I had to troubleshoot to reconfigure. I have two young kids in the house while everyone is quarantined for coronavirus. I would never do business with this company again as they not only have no clue what they are doing, but after spending over $10k on a brand-new system that has had nothing but issues you would think he would not be harassing me and my family for $400. Do not use this company! I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Very nice and took care of the issue fast. I will use All Island Mechanical again. I am very impressed on how fast they were able to come to my home considering that all other companies had a 48 hour wait.
