The team was professional and quick.

The movers themselves were great. However, they never mentioned the very over priced fuel charge despite only moving 6 miles away, they underquoted me by about 700$ and they tried to sneak in a higher labor rate than was initially quoted. The movers told me they did 3 hours of labor total yet I was charged for 4. They did change the labor rate but I suspect many customers never notice. Absolute horrible business practices and would not recommend them unless you are fine finding out they will charge you 100% more than they quoted after your stuff is on the truck and have no other option.

I am very happy with my team, their focus and getting the job done with professionalism and courtesy. They had their work cut out for them. Both moves? out and in were 2 story jobs. They worked tirelessly and were worth every dime. I have used All My Sons before in a previous move. I look no further and glad they were here in Virginia

Brandon’s team of Landon, Henry and Josh were absolutely outstanding for our move on Saturday March 28, 2026, in Mechanicsville Virginia "I cannot recommend All My Sons enough!! From start to finish, they made sure everything was protected. I was so pleased with how fast, efficient, and careful they worked. They treated all my items as if they were their own, treating everything with such care. The crew was extremely kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth and comfortable move. The 4 men were wonderful. We all had a good time. I'm amazed at how they fit everything, even a large lawn dragon sculpture and my riding mower into the truck. Everything arrived at my new home safely. The men worked quickly and efficiently. I would hire them again.

The team showed up late for a full pack and move, didn't get everything packed and left my house before loading everything into the truck. The team started out strong then just completely slowed down, I myself spent 4 hours packing boxes for them. The next morning they held my items hostage claiming I had to pay before they would leave the warehouse to deliver even though my bill of lading clearly said pay upon delivery and before unloading. Upon delivery, they haphazardly dropped off items all over the house, boxes were unlabeled and so many poorly packed, ie porcelain not even wrapped in paper, then they ran off before telling me how I was to get the rest of my things. Later that evening, I get an unsolicited email from the local company telling me how much it was going to cost to have them pick up and deliver all the items they left behind (extra $2000). I had to get a Uhaul to go get my own things. Please look elsewhere if you want a successful move or to be valued as a client.

I really had a poor moving experience. The final price was about three times more than what I was originally quoted. The movers did not come from the location that I called adding additional costs. There was some initial confusion about when the movers were set to arrive, adding unnecessary frustration. I thought the movers really took their time and lacked hustle. My 10 minute relocation took 6 1/2 hours ( moving from third floor to the third floor). At the end of the day they couldn?t reassemble my bed. I still have furniture that?s wrapped in moving material. I also have some furniture that was reassembled incorrectly. The movers did what they could, but could?ve been more communicative and could?ve benefited from more training & support.

Overall, I had a good experience. There were some setbacks with their arrival time and an additional service that was promised to me, and not fulfilled. However they made it right in the end. The movers were courteous of my time explained, everything to me thoroughly, and efficiently moved my things with care.

Brandon and Oscar were the A Team in my book. They were efficient, hardworking, and careful. I can only say great things about these two!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had used them before, great experience. This time, I was overcharged for time for less than great service. They left lamps, rugs, various other things, yet took empty boxes. Then sent a text asking if I wanted to hire them for junk/misc item removal. Quick to point out things that were already broken, but failed to mention when they actually broke something. They literally ran into my ditch and never made it into the driveway so imagine the time tacked on there, which they did in fact start the clock on charging me while in the ditch. They wrapped things that did not need to be wrapped and charged hundreds of dollars for time/materials. Ultimately, the lack of transparency in hidden charges is the worst. If you don't have the money you owe once they invoice you post load up, they keep your stuff. I borrowed money. My bottom line was double what I expected. And no use in complaining, every issue was deflected with no accountability. No resolution

All My Sons did a great job. They were hired to conduct an internal move within our home in order to have new carpet installed. Movers, Rico and Jay were very productive and helpful. Their customer service and attention to detail was spectacular!

Our experience with All My Sons has been an unforgettable nightmare. It all started with theft of money that was accidentally left in a bedroom. My wedding ring was also stolen from our home. What was supposed to be a joyous occasion for our family moving into our new home, turned into tears and disappointment. We have yet to be reimbursed or compensated for the ring. The company claims to be bonded and insured. However they are extremely difficult to work with on this matter. They do not provide updates, only empty statements or promises to ?follow up.? 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND this company for moving. We were told that the movers are vetted prior to hire. According to the police, that is not true. Again, be very cautious of who you choose to hire for moving. Pay attention, don?t take your eyes off of anyone in your home. Have extra people around just to watch. They will try to distract you. All my Sons moving company DID NOT meet our expectations of a seamless, safe, and secure move.

Complete bait a switch. I hired this company weeks before our move date. They called me three different times to get the same details about our move and confirm. I thought it was a little weird to call so many times but thought it might just be how they do things. The days before our move they called to inform me that they needed all my information again, needed to change the time, and needed to increase the price substantially! So unprofessional and clearly incompetent staff and manager. I worked with Cameron, Austin, and then the manager Oscar for the final call. It feels like they were just trying to scam me out of more money the day before the move bc they thought I couldn?t find another company on such short notice. Fired them. I?m shocked they are on Angie?s list and still in business with these practices. If I could give zero stars I would.

Moving crew and office staff were exceptional! Treated both sides of the move like it was their own. Everything covered and no damages on anything (homes on both sides) coming or going. Everyone was like a well oiled machine and no one was wasting time or movements. Everything well thought out and planned. Everyone did the initial walk thru to make sure everyone knew where things would be coming from or going to. As someone who coordinated office moves nationwide for over 40 years…my move was astounding👍 Great job!
