After having a bad previous experience with movers, I approached this last move on the defensive side. But from the very beginning Al My Sons Moving proved to be a top notch experience. Very professional and respectful, always on time and going well beyond their duties to make the customer happy. Please hire this company for your next move... do not hesitate.... do it now! Thank you so much for a wonderful moving experience!

There was a lot of hidden fees that we were not aware ahead of time. We moved from a 2 bedroom apartment with very few furnitures and was charged way too much with almost 2k of additional charges. The distance was only 10 miles and it costs way too much.

Claims update: "All My Sons Moving and Storage limit of legal liability for the loss or damage to your shipment is $0.60 /per pound/article." This is from my claims paperwork. Even with compensation they will lowball you. With this limit of compensation, if you have a $4k flat screen tv that weights 90lbs and they break it, all they "legally" have to give you is $54. STAY AWAY!!! TL;DR: Record your conversations and if possible video record your movers. Else they will deny everything and claim you knew and signed paperwork that they quietly changed in the background. Review: Super low balled with sleazy pricing adjustments after the fact. Was quoted around $650 at $209/hr for 4 people. Final bill was over $1800. On the bill the hourly rate was quietly changed to $219/hr and told that my original minimum charge would be $740, not the $680 originally sold to us. Also was told I was only being charged for 3 movers because the forth was in training. $209/hr for "3" people where only one seemed to know what he was doing, another seemed like he was new but at least helped move someone once before, and the rest deer in headlights. They also use an absurd pricing for consumables. Be prepared to pay over $70 for tape alone. Not to mention, the movers took their sweet time moving all the furniture and driving (Remember, they get paid based on time spent). We waited 30 minutes at the final destination after leaving with them 20 minutes before. 50 minutes total for a 20 minute drive. The charged start time was when they first arrived near the first location, not when they start work. Meaning I paid for the time it took for them to drive past my place, come back 5 minutes later, sit outside of the truck and figure out the best location for the truck, make / take phone calls, then start working (placing ramp on the truck) 25 minutes later. Not to mention main mover just opened my front door and walked into the house very first time without knocking, scaring both my GF and me. The icing on the cake is that they damaged so much of our property. Broken shelves and back panels, dropped and scratched washer/dryer, scuffed walls, etc. They even removed plastic wrap (charged $60 a roll) off of a desk by taking an oversized pocket knife and stabbing straight onto the desk top and pulling, leaving a lovely desk long scratch on it. The customer support for claims was super nice and helpful but the rep that I talked to about the cost was dismissive and lied straight to my face regarding agreed upon cost. He told me that if any such concerns arose, why didnt I bring it up, and that he tried to reach me twice during the move but no one answered. I replied that I did indeed call him back twice, first time he answered my questions nicely, second time I was on hold for 25 minutes well before their closing time and no one answered. He then dropped the subject and proceeded to tell me I agreed to all the costs up front and denied that the original pricing was ever real. Opinion: I would recommend not using this company at all, and if you do, record and read every scrap of conversation you have. Put up surveillance cameras if you can too. If I didnt have actual footage of the mover dropping my dryer, I truly believe they would have denied that happened as well. When handed stuff to sign on the tablet, exit the signature window and read what you are signing as well. Most likely you will notice that what you are signing isnt what you originally agreed to.

I would a minus 5 star. I have not purchased any more furniture or anything else since I moved into my apartment that I moved from. My last movers took 45 minutes to load and 45 minutes to unload me and they charge me the 2 hours which was fine. Unfortunately they were not available for my moving out date. So I hired All My Sons they were an hour late, took 3 hours to load me almost three and a half hours to unload me broke a dresser put heavy boxes on top of lightweight boxes and they broke a Sentimental glass of my daughter's wedding. I moved 12 miles and my total cost was $1,2 dollars and some change. I will never use them again I would use my preferred mover or really go into detail about who is going to move me if I don't have my preferred mover. Do not use them I should have read the reviews first and they are horrible they put the mattress and the spare bedroom of my new apartment I moved from a one bedroom one bath first floor to a two bedroom two bath first floor. Never ever ever use all my sons horrible the young men were personable but molasses moved us a heck of a lot faster than they did.

They did not pack up everything and said that their truck is full. They took 1 hour and 30 minutes to travel 13 miles midday without traffic and billed me for it. They broke my plates, and table lamps scratched all my furniture, did not put my sleep number bed back together, and lied about taking it apart. I regret having hired them!

The movers were spot on time, worked very hard. Promised to do what they said, very pleasant young men. I did have 3 fragile marked boxes all broken up, but am working with their claims department for resolution I am hoping. However, it has been since Aug 14 and no resolution. I have received a couple emails from customer service, but nothing resolved. I know things happen in a move, and it was a two hour distance to destination, but all 3 boxes marked heavily "FRAGILE". I still think they are a good company and the office staff is grand. Hoping to hear from them regarding the broken items :) They absolutely had the best price and never ever tried to nickel and dime and add anything extra. Very impressed with that, as every mover I have had in the past tried to charge me for anything they had to use.... like twine! jeez so I would use this company again. They saved me lots of money and kept their word.
