Troy was quick to respond to my inquiry for a repair quote, set an appointment and completed the repair in record time. The price was reasonable and such a relief to have my heirloom dining chair in one piece again!

I contacted Home Advisor in August 2021. I needed a professional to refinish and restore a French Country Cabinet. The cabinet was made of mahogany and the sides and front of the cabinet had glass panes .Troy Keup of All Over A Board contacted me. Troy stated he could fix and refinish the cabinet. Troys assessment was1)replace the back of the cabinet(later found to be unnecessary).2.replace one pane of glass located on upper right side of the cabinet.3.refinish the cabinet. Troy inspected the cabinet carefully on a sunny clear day in August 2021 any flaws in the cabinet would be easy to spot.Troy stated he could not start work on the cabinet for one month which meant that I should receive the refinished cabinet sometime in October2021.Troy gave me a final estimate to $375. Shortly thereafter, Troy called me and stated the cabinet needed more work than he originally thought. His reason was that the cabinet was fragile which it was NOT! The only part of the cabinet that could be considered fragile were the glass panes. And a experienced refinisher should not have had a problem with this. Combinations of glass and wood are common place in furniture such as china hutches, barrister bookcase, curio cabinets,etc.The original quoted price was increased by $170 or 43%. When Troy gave me the original bid after close inspection of the cabinet, he never mentioned anything about the cabinet being fragile! The increase I found odd. I have had furniture refinished before and the estimates made by previous vendors were always honored. So now all that was needed was to replace one pane of glass and refinish the cabinet. Dont I wish! October 2021 came and went. When I pressed Troy for a delivery date, he always had an excuse. The cabinet was picked up on 8-22-21 and returned on April 12,2022, 8 months later. The returned cabinet had many defects.1)In many places, the paint job was substandard.2)The were nicks on both the white and gold accent paint.3)The left door of the cabinet would not close and the right door would not open Previously both doors had opened with ease.4)Some of the glass was replaced with a synthetic material WITHOUT MY PERMISSION .Any replacement of the original product damages the integrity of the original piece. Also, since before only one pane of glass needed to be replaced, damage to the cabinet occurred on Troys watch.5)On the left door, the original glass was replaced with the fake glass several of the wood panes on the outside of the door did not align with their inside counter parts.6)Several inside wood panes were damaged either by the insertion of the synthetic product or something else .I do know that Troys shop was vandalized.7) Eight months after the pickup date I received the cabinet back in bad condition. When I asked Troy for full compensation, since I now have to have the cabinet refinished again, his response was that he did not give refund. When I called Troy, explaining that the cabinet was in bad shape after he returned it, Troy became verbally abusive and I had to terminate the call. In October 2021, Troy picked up a curio wall cabinet I needed refinished. The price for the re-staining was $300. Unfortunately, upon the return I saw what appeared to be small scratches on the back of the curio cabinet and the cups need to be stained. So the curio cabinet needed to be returned to the shop. Troy did not get back with me. I called him later requesting the return of the cabinet and a time and date for the return. He said he would return it the 1st week of May. When I again pressed him for a specific time and date he hung up on me. I paid him $300 and now going into the 7th month I still do not have my cabinet. Thank you for your time today.

Beautiful refinishing of a 50 year old solid oak heirloom desk. Could not be happier work the work.

Troy was on time for both his initial look through and on the day of the service. He and his associate arrived together and they did an excellent Power Washing of all our Concrete.

Despite owner's health difficulty and resulting communication hitches, he arranged to have someone experienced arrive and do the work. The person was extremely diligent and helpful, doing excellent work and going farther than I expected. I appreciate a business able to adapt and achieve in the face of adversity. Yup, I give my solid recommendation.

The final price was $100 over the estimate. Delivered chair with no explanation of price increase or desire to receive payment? just pay online was all that was said; then forgot to include the payment link in the email. Repair of seat ended up being way overstuffed! Did not address padding in the back of the chair. The original work statement was chair padding was worn out, especially the seat. The chair is serviceable.

Very responsive and even "squeezed" us in to get it done before guests arrive at our house. Great job!!

They walked around the house to take in the scope of the job. Some spots on our pergola were missed, but I can forgive them for that. Overall they did a great job.
