Mr. Chapman is a nice enough man, and surely seems honest enough when you meet him, but unfortunately it looks like we're in the same boat as several other customers who gave him either all or most of the money up front, only to have him *get sick* - in our case about halfway through the work - and completely stop returning calls and basically disappear. We were undertaking a pretty major renovation on a small, fairly cheap house that was going to cost us about $25,000 to get it rent-ready. Mr. Chapman did get to work hard and heavy on the first phase of renovation, taking his first draw from the bank of $10,600, then taking the second draw of the same amount about a week later. It was shortly after receiving the second big payment, with only a little over $5k left to pay to him, that he started getting more and more distant, always claiming (if he actually responded) that he was sick but was trying his best to get back on his feet and had every intention of getting back to work on the house by the end of the week - he texted a version of this about three separate times, on three separate weeks. It has now been over a month since we've had any communication from him, and we are basically accepting that he has no intention of completing this project for us. Being very generous, he MIGHT have completed $15,000 worth of renovations on the house, out of the over $21,000 he has drawn on the renovation loan - I think realistically he has done closer to $12,000 worth on it, so pocketed around $9k off of us (who knows how much and even if he paid his workers). Bottom line, the work that WAS completed was acceptable, but we would obviously never work with this man again. If for whatever reason you have to, do not give him anything up front, or you will probably be sorry.

There is an original post made by me as it was compiled by a Home Advisor advisor. The post warns HA customers to be wary of paying Mr. Chapman before all work is to your liking. Do not be beguiled. Mr. Chapman?s work is of good quality in basic areas of construction, but his work in areas requiring more skill such as tiling with more costly materials than say laminate is not the best. We had glazed porcelain tile laid. The floor grout began cracking about a week after he ?finished the job.? It took a miracle to get Mr. Chapman to return to redo the grout, only for to ME buy more porcelain for him to redo the job. Then he chipped many of the tile that remained on my floor. Then there was the tub job. The actual tub repair which he did was not even what I asked him to do. I asked him if he was familiar with returning my old tub to it?s original polished look. That was before I realized I only needed a vinegar and baking soda solution to do the job, and before he resurfaced my tub badly, which also had to be redone?again badly. Then a faulty tub and sink faucet installation was noticed a few months after his work was finally complete. Based on his one-year warranty on his labor, I called him to return to look into the matter. He kept promising my husband and me that he would come. We?d schedule a day and time, but he would never show. After much ado and a couple more months to pass, we hired someone else to correct his work. This is when I complained to Home Advisor. They investigated the issue, noted all the added hardship and costs incurred by me and my husband due to Mr. Chapman?s poor workmanship, and requested of him to refund me for the tub and sink faucet repairs. Thankfully, Mr. Chapman agreed to reimburse me and actually followed through on it. I am disheartened to even have to make this review, but it does serve to give Mr. Chapman a small benefit of any doubts. If only he had just followed up on his agreement, none of this would have to be written. I?d like to believe I am a fair person, and making complaints goes against my very nature. But after the amount of money we paid him to remodel our bathroom-over $4000.00, I simply needed him to know there was much left to be desired from his workmanship.

Brad is a very hard working man. He kept his eyes on his workers and made sure everything was done properly. He is very reasonable considering I have 35 wood windows in my house. He is very kind and respectable and I highly recommend him.

Do not use this business!! He took our money, did no work and will not return our calls or money. We are pursuing the return of our money. We used Brad in the past- he did a good job more than a year ago. The change in him and his lack of work and integrity is mind boggling. Save yourself the utter frustration and temporary loss of money.

They were certainly honest with what the problems were. Their attitudes and integrity were on point. They did not waste time on the job. They were worth every penny I paid.

Brad C. is the owner. Do not give this guy money before the job is done. I feel like his reviews are fake. He hired a guy to do some of the work in my home (God willing that guy is paid) and just disappeared without finishing what was on contract. Won t return calls or text. Shady from the get-go.
Response from All Phase Construction
"I was locked out of the job. I was sick, got pneumonia. I called him after I recovered from getting sick, he wouldn't take my calls. I went to the job he had changed the lock box numbers, I could not get into the house. He hired somebody else to finish the job. So I had no opportunity to complete my contract. The job was more than 80% complete."
