They charge for blankets, boxes and the trip to your location and for them to go home. A $300 quote turned into almost $800! Never again.

On time. Polite. Carefull. Professional

Classic bait and switch. We told them exactly what we were moving and where we were going. They refused to take bagged linens unless they were boxed in wardrobe boxes - that cost about $200 in time and materials. The move cost twice the amount quoted and get this - they wont unload the truck until you pay them in cash so you can't dispute any charges. Buyer beware!

Came early, got done quick. The person that quoted did not show like he said but no problem. Final price was about $600 higher then quoted. Oh well. They got it here safe. I would recommend Northside

The Good: Honest (found dropped cash and returned to me). On time. Stayed within pre-work expense estimates. Overall, nice guys. The Bad: Put many scratches on a newly finished hardwood floor (1 week old), damaged many pieces of furniture (various degrees from scratches, wood nicks, badly damaging mount points, careless disassembly). Damages exceeded the cost of the move. I would not in good conscious be able to recommend this company based on the extent of damages. Unfortunately, they were not realized before the movers had left, because reassembly had not been performed after the job

I had a wonderful experience with John. He was accommodating during a busy time of the year with a very complicated house closing. His men were hard workers and polite, and completed the job without issue and professionally. Northside also offered the most competitive rate for the job.

Great company. Rob and his crew did an amazing job. They were quick, efficient and professional. They setup all furniture to where it needed to be in the new house along with any requests. Highly recommended!

Got a very good deal on their flat rate moving package. The team was cordial and accommodated our requests.

John was amazing from start to finish. We moved my things from one home to a storage unit not knowing a time frame. Then when it was time to move from storage to the new home all I did was give him a call and it was set up immediately. His crew where polite, careful,and worked contuely till the job was done. When they where working faster than myself moving boxes they told me to take my time they would not leave until I went thru them.they reassembled all beds and furniture that needed it.

Movers were very fast and efficient, and polite. Inadvertently slightly damaged the corner of a desk discovered after the move. Company does not insure particle board furniture.

White glove service is overrated and expensive. The crew were rude and kept cursing in Mexican when we asked them to avoid walking in our new home with their shoes on. They used blankets to cover the moving area, but one of them kept walking over the carpets with their shoes on. The fumigated blankets they used were tattered and torn. Not sure what went wrong, we hired them because of their 5 star ratings. Maybe we were sent a bad crew. Won't use again.
