Write a ReviewWe used the service of All Roads Express a few days ago to move our warehouse to another location and I would like to highly recommend these guys. They arrived at the time we scheduled, worked quickly and efficiently and all our contents arrived at the new place without any problem and to our satisfaction.
We booked with International Van Lines who unfortunately subcontracted our move September 2022 from Florida to the Northeast to All Roads Express. Lack of care or concern by All Roads Express for our move resulted in damage of numerous furniture items including our dining room table, living room credenza, buffet table, master bedroom chest plus a side table with blue dye leaked on top from the moving blankets. Our second bedroom set has several dings and dents, too. We also thought our new organic queen mattress would be in safe because we had purchased a zippered waterproof mattress case specifically for the move. The mattress left our Florida house encased in the cover but arrived ruined, out of the case with no case in site. The mattress was wet, soiled and torn. The excuse was that it rained and the mattress was near the side door of the box truck. Such a lack of integrity. Why was the cover removed and taken? Unsure how many times our furniture was moved around. (Unloaded after pickup in Florida, days later left Florida then arrived in a rented box truck of which we were the second drop off.) The cause of all damages were a result of both packing and handling negligence. Much of the damages resulted from the moving blankets being worn away at the furniture corners. My dining table sustained the worst damage and we are unable to replace the table to match the chairs. Also, the mirror of my bedroom chest was ruined when they reattached the mirror to the chest, the screw protruded and chipped the frame. We tried to negotiate for damages wit All Roads Express however we were only offered a few hundred dollars despite the many before and after photos and videos we provided including pictures of how the mattress arrived on the truck. We were asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement if we accepted the menial offer which we refused. We instead settled for full replacement value with an independent moving insurance policy we had purchased prior to the move, thankfully. This was the worst moving experience and now we are stuck with damaged, irreplaceable furniture pieces that had been purchased as sets.
I used them to leave a house, store my belongings for a few weeks, and then move back into another one. These guys are true pros in every way. They were courteous, accommodating, effective, and careful of my furniture, artwork, and other belongings. Additionally, the proprietor of the business visited my home to examine the project and have a conversation before I hired them. Other businesses I called wouldn't even bother; they simply tossed out their prices in the hopes that I would take them. These folks are competent! Thanks for the wise decision...
I employed All Roads Express to transport my strewn-about possessions from a huge family home to a compact flat. It was a good experience from the original quotation to my email interaction with Hiram to them being at my place on time and prepared to work. They were prompt, courteous, competent, and reliable. Overall, it was a really nice experience (and I HATE moving). I would without a doubt suggest them to anyone looking for movers. Comparing their quote to the other 8 bids I was looking for, it was also incredibly reasonable. Five stars, to be honest!
It is with deep sadness that we write a very poor review of All Roads Express. We are people who are in the habit of praising not criticizing. At the end of May of this year, we hired All Roads Express to move a partial load for us from Bonita Springs, Florida to Dayton, Ohio. Our baby sail fish that we paid an extra $45 for to have All Roads Express pack and move arrived with broken parts and upended. If it can be fixed, we have a cost of $600 from a taxidermist. Six other very precious items came to us broken. A silver chest with our family’s wedding sterling, our parents wedding sterling and our collection of small silver spoons representing 12 countries we have traveled to never arrived. All the broken items and the missing silver chest were packed by All Roads Express in one large box. This box when we unpacked it had obviously been broken into and hastily repacked. All Roads Express took our partial load and put it into a staging area. About 10 days later they had an independent rig operator deliver it to us in Ohio. We thought All Roads Express would pack and deliver. Tema was the one employee we talked to to arrange this job. She was at all times helpful which is why we gave one star instead of none. However, when we reported the broken and missing items, all we were offered was $180 with all liabilities dismissed if we accepted this. We cannot accept this offer. We know that something very wrong happened after All Roads Express picked up our load and before delivery. The sadness with it all stays with us. We cannot ever replace what was broken and missing. We used All-Roads Express to move from Florida to Texas and were very satisfied. During the estimating phase the sales representative was extremely helpful. As the move date was imminent we were kept updated on the status of our moving truck and forewarned about potential schedule adjustments. While the move was underway we found the staff on both the loading and unloading to be extremely customer oriented and competent. After the move the driver pointed out a needed furniture repair which the company promptly resolved.
Great
Good job of inventorying items at pick up. Good value. Contract said that we would be notified of the delivery date within 24 hours of pickup. However, we were not told of the delivery date until 10 days after pickup. Moving staff was professional and worked hard, however the driver had to unload our delivery by himself because his helper was a no show. I would recommend All Roads Express because of their price/value, but they need to better live up to their contract on delivery communication and ensure adequate staff to unload the delivery.
The office staff was great. Showed up on time. Got the shipment to our house as promised. Did not provide advance notice of the delivery. Clothes were just dumped in the wardrobe boxes and they did not use the hangars they were on. Purchased additional insurance and a painting we had was damaged. Still trying to get a response to fix it (been 6 weeks so far).
My sales representative, Nirva Borgia, is the reason I went with this company. Nirva was very professional and very supportive and explained everything perfectly. She is a great asset to your company. My complaint would be that the packers did not label one single box and there were many. They mixed rooms together, a few items were broken, Could not put the boxes in any certain room so had to put most all of them in the garage before they could be gone through, very time consuming on my part. Also several items that were marked to be loaded were not. I am missing a few items too. The 2 gentleman that delivered were very good but I did a lot of helping to bring things in myself. They did not even try and put the lamp back together, the only thing that need to be reassembled. In your companys defense, I was not there during the loading of the truck, which now I regret I was not there. and the new owners were and to my understanding were really on them to get done and out quickly. But like I mentioned earlier Nirva was really my deciding factor in hiring you company.
