"As with any service, there is a fixed cost associated and set by basic operational standards. As clearly stated in the comments above the cost of the services was stated bearing in mind that it would require a service truck to drive to his property to do whatever the job required in order to fix it. This was an underground issue not visible to the naked eye and required digging to find. like any artisan profession, there has to be a contract/agreement inlace before we can access let alone dig on any property. That said we had all that in place and proceeded to do what we were contracted to do " FIX THE PROBLEM ". However, in very recent times new homeowners who for some reason or another expect a free pass/meal because they fail to grasp the concept of homeownership and that it requires routine maintenance and it can't and won't be for free unless you try and do it for yourself. It is not fear to use social platforms to berate/tear down the companies and individuals that make their living from offering needed services because you have to pay to get basic things done. It might serve you to rent rather than own if you are not Handy. Many people have bearing orange trees in their backyards but there buy orange juice at Publix, Wal-mart etc. Does that make Wal-mart bad for selling whatever the cost? It's the price of service and convenience Mr. Jose Reyes."

"It is said that mental illness is not visible. If there is a case that meets those conditions this is the one. Home ownership is not for everyone. The ignorance that comes with the cost of what was taken for granted for over 40 years of renting creates a real disconnect in the mind of the person who has not taken the time to educate themselves on what things really cost compared to calling the landlord or building super. If traveling 40 miles to location, then given the mandate to assess and make fully functional equates to removing replacing 35 perfectly functional sprinkler heads that from/in my professional opinion needed replacements in some and adjustment in others, after 2 hours of two man crew working in reclaimed water, 9 new sprinkler heads installed out of a total of 20, Charged $220.00 has earned us the above review, then for sure we need to start assessing potential customers for mental illness or their potential disconnect from reality. However, we will not be deterred from providing excellent service to everyone else because of one individual who is devoid of the knowledge associated with anything. "Thank you Mr. Alan [consumer name withheld at their request] for the opportunity you gave us to serve. That said, I would like to point out how insincere your review of our services provided is. You, for many years, neglected to maintain and upkeep your free standing concrete garage to the point were it was covered in wild invasive vines. For what ever reason, other than God input, you decided to clean up the structure and paint it. You were very specific with your service request and only wanted the vine marks removed and it would be too much to scrape away. That said, we agreed that this was a service I could properly provide and as such we were hired. While doing what we were hired to do and do extremely well, we noticed that the building was about 45 years old was shedding the old paint in flakes and we wanted to bring that to your attention to which you agreed that was a surprising benefit and even though not expected, would make the new paint adhere even better and reduce the possibility of future flaking. As our contractual obligation came to an end and the surprising bonus of some paint removal as a result of the hot water we were using to soften the vine sap, we brought you out to show you the final result to which you were very pleased and expressed your delight at the bonus. Taking into consideration we were hired to do pressure cleaning per service request NOT paint removal, we think that your assessment of us and our services is inaccurate and defamatory, as no where in our service speciality do we offer paint removal, yet we are being judged by that. It would have been better to have hired a sand blasting company if paint removal was your ultimate desire and not con us into providing a service that we never offered and then crucify us when it was not done.
