All State Appliance Repair

Work was completed quickly, efficiently and courteously.

They were very speedy in coming to my home and making the repair but it didn't "stick." My washing machine had overflowed causing immense damage & cost. I asked them to check my machine to see if it could be repaired. They replaced a timer. The 4th time I used it after the repair, iIt overflowed again. Only good luck prevented another major disaster. I still had a big clean-up, however. I called & they did come out within a couple of hours. This time it was a different issue that should have been caught the first time. However, I can never trust my machine or this 2nd "fix." I lost $211 for nothing. It should have been right the 1st time.

I have not had a good experience with All State Appliance Repair regarding my Kenmore clothes dryer repair. The machine had just stopped working. Alfonso called me immediately once I posted on the Internet, and he scheduled to come later that day. Once he dismantled the machine, he indicated that I would need a new motor - a charge of $265 that he'd have to return to complete. After about 15 minutes, he said that he had an idea and that he would use parts in his truck to repair the motor - and only charge me $185. He said he could complete it in about 20 minutes. I balked at the price, since he wasn't at our house for very long, but since I have a lot of laundry piling up, I agreed. After he left, the dryer was still not working. He did, however, cash the check for $185 immediately. The dryer was making a large buzzing noise when it started, and then it would turn off after about 5 minutes. Currently, it does not function at all. I called him to tell him this, and he said that he would return the following morning with a new motor. He never showed up. That was a week ago, and I have not seen him at all. I've left him about 5 messages and none have been returned.

I found Alfonso to be competent, honest and very knowledgable about the products he services. He could not fix the applicance as it needed a $380.00 part, but he did exactly what he said he would when I first contacted him to diagnose the problem with my washing machine.

They came out and fixed my company's refrigerator, I paid with my credit card and found out later that they overcharged my credit card after several calls to credit my credit card they said they would. I gave them a second chance being that it's a small business and a few weeks later I called them again regarding a dryer which they came out to fix and the problem continued the next day, I have been calling them to come out and honor their guarantee service and have been receiving the run around and keep getting their voice maill until I called from a different phone which did not have caller ID. If you want PROBLEMS use ALL STATE APPLIANCE if not stay away..

I thought he was fabulous! He was the first contractor to call me and the cheapest for the estimate - 25 bucks! He came out IMMEDIATELY to check on my problem, ordered the part after hours, picked it up the next morning, then installed it after he picked it up! This type of service is unheard of and I HIGHLY recommend using All State. OH! He showed me the evidence of the problem - a bra wire, tissue, and a lot of coins!!!!

Alfonso called me immediately after I put in my request online. We made an appointment for the next day. He and his father showed up early (called first to make sure that was OK) looked at the problem with my washer, went to get the part and was back to fix it in about an hour. They were polite, professional and knowledegable. I could not have asked for better service. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

numerous calls made following repair. two appointments made for initial problem. repairman never showed up. called two more times message left with no follow up responce. would never use again. what kind of service would you call it?

They were prompt, friendly, polite and very good at their job. They set an appointment for within 1 hour, arrived on time and finished quickly and they were willng to give a range quote over the phone. Besides being excellent repairmen, they charged a reasonable fee.

All State Appliance Repair did an excellent job fixing our fridge recently. Not only did they provide same day service (they came within 3 hours of our phone call), they called us ahead to say that they would be here in 15 minutes. True to their word, they were at our door 15 minutes later. They assessed and fixed our problem in about an hour and a half. We thought they were very polite and respectful and provided us with great customer service. We will use them for future repairs and would highly recommend them to others. They can on time and found out what was wrong and fix my washing machine quickly. The are a little expensive, but it was done correctly. Great Job

He responded by telephone promptly (within minutes), explained his service, told me when he could be at my home. He was most courteous, was very competitive with his price, he offered to be at my home within a couple of hours and he was prompt. He did the job quickly and neatly. His work was satisfortory and the job was completed to my complete satisfaction. His personal appearance was good and he was friendly. His work was eveerything one could want and his deminer was very good. Thank you.

This guy does not stand behind his work. After fixing my washer and charging $200 the same problem developed a month later and he was completely unresponsive. Made two appts.to correct the problem. Never showed and never called. Avoid him at all costs.

Satisfying, Good job

Although I have had great success in the past with Service Magic, I had to call this repair company back to finish the repair including re-attaching the front panel, a part that they left on the floor and to clean up, . In addtion they did not restore the machine lid to proper working condition. What used to be a simple lift of the lid and a push button release is not a shove and pull of the lid to ensure that it does not fall on my hand as I load the washing machine. A customer should not regret working with a contractor. I will be reporting this further as I now realize I should have chosen a different company.

I asked them to come out and service our dryer. He cleared out some burned lint, replaced a part, and said the dryer would work just like new. The burning smell went away, but the dryer still does not dry our clothes. I have called three times and left a message, but it has been a week and no call back. I think they cheated us out of $200. DON'T HIRE THEM!!! Update: They called back after a week claiming that they were closed for Thanksgiving (a whole week?). Arranged for them to come out and fix the problem again. They did not show up for the appointment and did not call to explain why. Once again: RIPOFF!!! DO NOT HIRE!!! CROOKS!!!

First of all, they quoted me a price, and charge my account another price, second, I authorized $150.00 to be charged to my debit, they charged me $351.00, third, they made me an appointment for Sat. 11-1pm, 11/22/08, they never showed up, never called to cancel, I called them at 1pm, they told me the part was not in, that they would contact me on Monday @7:30 am to schedule yet another appointment, they never called me, so I call them, get scheduled yet again, for 5-7pm, they never showed up or called, I left them a message at about 6:45 pm on Monday, so far no answer, because of the unauthorized charges, I incurred overdraft charges.

They diagnonsed and fixed the problem with my washer (had the part in their truck!) within a half hour!

Hey, what more do you want? He called ahead, gave me a reasonable time window when he could arrive, he and his dad showed up on time, were able to quickly assess my oven's condition, quoted me a fair price, did the work well and quickly (but not rushed), invited me to call if any questions or future work (my fridge might be needing their ministrations soon...). I'll be happy to make that call, these men are good people.

They had to come back and finish the job and that is why I rate them a 4 star they did finish the jobs

The repairman was excellent. He was polite, on time and very helpful. Although he couldn't repair the second oven, he did a great job on the first. I am disappointed that no one called me back about fixing the professional oven.
