All State Asphalt and Concrete

We accepted the quote in April for the job and asked for it to be scheduled, but never heard back. We decided to try again in September. They scheduled to do the job on Thursday 10/1/2020 from 12:00-3:00. I called at 12:30 and was told they would not get there around 2:30. After 3:00 I called and was told they would not get there until around 5:00, then after 5:00, I was told they would start the job as soon as they can get there and would finish it on Friday morning. Then I was told they were not coming on Thursday, but would be there Friday morning to do it. Then late Thursday evening, I was contacted and told it is raining, so we will need to move it to next week. When I reported that, in fact, it was not raining in Roanoke where the project is and will not be raining, I was told well, it was a rough day so they are not going to come to do it on Friday and was told they would do it next week. We had worked for two hours preparing for the job - moving stacks of firewood, moving a trailer and equipment to the house of a neighbor, and removing sports equipment to the front yard. This was ridiculous. This company cannot be relied upon to do what they say they are going to do, and I believe that next week they would cancel the job and keep rescheduling if it suited them - so I canceled the project. It was a big waste of time trying to work with this company.

First contractor to contact me — others took 3-4 days. Very friendly, driveway looks fantastic, crew very professional. I would hire them again.

Driveway looks great! Stayed late on a Saturday and even came back on Sunday to re-paint my basketball court lines. A in my book.

We recently contracted All State Asphalt and Concrete to complete a 1000 square foot extension to our asphalt driveway. I spent the entire day with the All State crew while they completed the job. I found the entire crew to be very professional and personable, doing an excellent job, completing the paving to meet my specifications. Iâ d highly recommend All State to meet your paving needs.

They were 2 weeks late from the date they gave to complete the work; when the foreman left early, the workers failed to clean up the site [e.g. roll up my hose, remove excess asphalt from the cul de sac; left some of their equipment; and failed to block the driveway with flags to warn people not to drive on it. (they said they would do so.) If you choose to hire them, be sure to be there when they are working.

they are interested in the money, than doing what the customer wants, i would recommend under strict guidance or contract

Would not recommend this business to anyone I know. They don't do quality work nor do they stand behind their work. My driveway looks worse now than before they did the work. The owner talks so fast and tells me you had better not hire his crew.

Todd Brady was a true professional in every way possible. My job was delayed due to snow & rain but Todd kept me informed the whole way. With the job completed, it looks great. I'm so pleased and would wholeheartedly recommend Allstate Asphalt & Concrete.
