I called on a Friday night because after washing dishes, draining a bath, and doing a load of laundry, there was a little sewage in the basement from our mainline. This had happened to us before, but my usual plumber had retired. They arrived Saturday morning around 10. We had a slow draining sewer line that we wanted snaked. We knew there were roots and told them that. He snaked the line, we also had him **video-inspect** it. He said the line was clogged with roots and needed to be replaced. It was late in the day when he left. The next morning when we started our morning routine, water was backing up from the sewer line almost immediately and now it will not drain at all. We called him back and he said he would not come back again. He charged us $400 for the privilege of unusable plumbing and quoted us a $5000-$6000 to repair the line he obviously broke. Accidents happen, we live in an old house, but this company has handled it terribly.
