"Thanks! This Home energy audit led to 3 Jobs, Insulation and air sealing of the attic along with air sealing around his foundation with Foam to insulate and stop air penetrations at the bander boards. We also replaced the basement windows as part of another proposal effectively stopping the greatest loss of heat in his basement. The last job which the homeowner will not see the benefit until next summer, was the install of an attic Breeze solar fan. I only install solar fans if other areas of air and heat loss have been addressed in the attic first by doing a premium air seal. This prevents the risk of drawing air out of the conditioned space that would cause condensation and mold risks. This means His garage should be Cool in the summer and his AC will not have to work as hard since the heat will not radiate in as badly as it did last year. Thank You Again, It was a pleasure serving you (Hope that heating oil usage went way down!.) Bob"
"My Guys said you did a nice Job on the things we talked about. Glad I could help you out and save some mony on the work. Enjoy your saving and increased comfort for the many years you will live there."
"This Customer Received a Quote to insulate a one story garage w/ the sloped roof in the attic also being insulated, The walls though numbered separately had the price accidently missed. The Terms on the contract says that these errors can be addressed at any time. We were willing to stop work after the priced item was completed before starting the item in dispute. Definitely not bait and Switch, as we would not be in business for 44 years if we did this as a course of business. I was truly sorry for the mistake and did extend a price that reflected his lowest received bid to be fair. All in all he paid the lowest bid and lost no money since he would have rejected my bid if it would have had no typo/missed information. Yes you should always check you estimate before signing any contract! Always throw out the highest and lowest bids. Lowest is usually the "Cheapest" Work and the highest usually is a throw out bid. I know I have done the Highest bid to avoid a job that appears to be a hassle or not something we really want to tackle."

"I completely apologize if I came across as rude to you. I've tried reaching you by telephone but have had no success. Unfortunately, this situation was caused by a lack of communication on our part. One of our employees was coping with a family death and one was ill. I did my best under the circumstances and had an employee finish your job basically by himself even though it took longer than originally scheduled. All in all, your house should be warmer and will cost less to heat. We appreciate your business and again, I extend my sincere apologies for any distress we caused you."
"We were not aware that the customer said it did not work, until we read this. What we did would produce a sound transmission rating STC of 37 - which the CertainTeed Corporation describes as "loud" speech is audible but not intelligible. As always I reviewed the CertainTeed published STC ratings with the customer prior to beginning. Now that we know that the customer is not satisfied, we have an appointment set to go to his house after Christmas to review and brainstorm the job. With the help of CertainTeed Manufacturer of sound rated doors was finally located. I think this is very important because most of the sound seems to be coming through the doors. Any door with an STC of 32 is approaching the STC rating of the walls we insulated. We went out to Mr. D's (consumer name withheld per their request) house and discovered his door seemed to be the culprit. The wall to the right of the door was working as designed. We are contacting CertainTeed regarding door sound ratings. We will keep you up to date on our progress"
