Wood Fence Installation
I contracted with Advance 1 Construction to install a privacy fence on my property. Initially he came out and seemed so nice, giving a great presentation. It was all downhill from there. As soon as I gave him a check for over $3,000, he never purchased any materials and never came back to do the job. Six weeks went by and multiple phone calls and emails were placed to get in touch with this contractor without response. When I was able to finally get ahold of him, he said I can't come after him for my money because he had filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and also had "intent" on doing the job. This is complete non-sense and I don't appreciate as an empty-nester living on my own to be taken advantage of like this. I caution anyone reading this to never use this company.

Did not arrive on that date. contacted he said they were running behind and would be done in June. contacted end of June. gave me a date of July 8. said still behind the following week. Than nothing. Until this week got an e-mail that he is filing for bankruptcy. Now I need to figure out what to do. Still has his business site up. Do not hire

They took us for $3500.00, and did no work!! Never answered emails, calls, or texts!! So disgusted with the dishonesty of people!! We forgive them because that is what God tells us to do, so the question is, can they forgive themselves for their deceit and dishonesty?

They had to put two lights in my bathroom for a remodel. When you turn the lights on you can hear a searing sound and see them flicker. I called an electrician and was informed that the lights were not properly installed or grounded. I was told that they have electricians and plumbers on staff to handle the jobs. They must have looked at youtube to learn how to do an install, because my family safety was endangered.

At beginning of project it was ok, then later on Zach started with excuses about not having material to finish the job. We waited since we signed agreement on August 11,2021 and until April 1 of this year for him to finish the gates and I told him I will reduce the payment starting on April 1st $50 for every day he is running late up to 10 days and after that I will take any action necessary but he got mad and left material in our front yard and told us to find someone else to finish job that we are rude people and do not understand him. We did already pay him most of the payment that we agreed upon only few hundred dollars left to finish the gates. Very disappointed and will not recommend business at all!

"We are sorry that your experience was bad. Your fence was fully completed on November 10th, 2021. You and Mr. Begice said you wanted larger gates to eliminate 1 1/2in gap between gate and fence post. I stated that we would have to special order these items. we were approaching winter, gates were 6 weeks out on special order. Material arrived in December there was freezing temperatures and snowing. March came around and there was still freezing weather so I communicated with you guys that April would be the month of install. From the beginning you guys yelled at us and hung up on us multiple times. I wish we could make this right. We are sorry"

The owner of the business, Zach Downing, showed great communication skills when presenting the quote. He followed up on each detail and was able to start the roofing job earlier than anticipated as well as finished the project early. His work crew (employees) were friendly, courteous, making the good job they did go smoothly.
