I was completely dissatisfied. The technician had no idea what he was doing. I had to instruct him using internet help video. He also had to phone a friend for help and still was unable to repair my appliance(s). After the THIRD day I ended up asking him to leave my home after he FLOODED my kitchen causing approximately $3000.00 damage to wooden cabinets. I can't believe this technician is licensed because he does not possess the requisite knowledge to repair appliances. He would'nt even make a suitable handyman. I will NEVER hire this service again.
Response from Insurance
"Mark was a difficult client. Him being a retired military policeman. His head was always between me and the machine. On his dryer I went with my experence and replaced the moisture sensor. After this failed to correct the problem I then replaced the thermostate. This corrected the problem. It is not unusual for any appliance tech to call another for advice. I get calls all the time. The online repair videos are a joke, they always advice the most costly and difficult repair. The water leak from the diswasher was minimal and resulted from a defected drain pump. I would have corrected this had he let me."

Joe was prompt and on time. Joe did install my dishwasher and it works fine. The price was somewhat close to what he quoted. Issues were as follows: 1. Asked to use my tools 2. Asked me to do parts runs and then gave me attitude when I brought back the wrong fitting. Really thats why I hired someone to do this job. 3. Broke an outlet terminal box and did not offer to fix. 4. Did not completely finish the job, he needed to get to another job and asked if I could install the last valve. 5. Did not clean up his mess and work area. Overall I was not satisfied with the job. His other reviews were great that is why I hired him.
Response from Insurance
"I am confused by this clients remarks. I had to remove a kitchen cabinet in order to install a dishwasher. This involved plumbing, carpentry, eletrical and appliance skills. The client was very polite and never said a word about about being unhappy with my work. I always try to make my customers happy. That is how I get great reviews."

Our gas dryer stopped heating. Joe was able to tell us over the phone what it was (about 99% sure) and the price. He came out on time, fixed the dryer and charged us $5 less then the oral estimate. He had to go back to Mission Valley for the part and was back in less than an hour.

He was AWFUL. He was unprepared, unprofessional, disorganized and CARELESS. He fried the electricity to the appliances and HE LEFT MY KITCHEN A DISASTER AND DID NOT FINISH THE JOB! What is even worse -- HE was incredibly RUDE, telling me to "RELAX!!" when he incorrectly opened the box with my brand new cooktop and all the pieces spilled out onto my tile floor, dropped his tools against my brand new stainless steel dishwasher, and cut through a cabinet with his electric saw and cut right into the things inside my cupboard --including an heirloom antique electric Teak Knife. HE IS HORRIBLE!!!! He doesn't even deserve the ONE STAR!!
Response from Insurance
"She was a very difficult client. What began as a simple removal and replacement became a fabrication nightmare. I spent 9 hours getting her new cooktop and downdraft fan installed. That did not include 3 hours spent in stores and on the road. The downdraft fan was wider and deeper and vented from a different place. I overcame this by cutting the opening cabinet and fabricating the vent tube, this took 25- 35 removal and replacement of the vent. The fan also required shortening the cabinet drawer and metal track. I billed her for 4 hours and worked for 12 plus a full tank of gas for my truck."

Joe was amazing. He came to our home on the Eve of Thanksgiving and fixed our oven quickly and in our price range. Joe is a true gift to his profession. He is friendly, reliable and knowledgable. If anything ever breaks in our home again I now have a "go-to guy."

Called him on Friday and he came out Saturday morning. The first part that he replaced turned out not to be the right one. But he came came out on Monday, replaced the bad part (it could only be one of two) and didn't charge me anything. I would recommend him to others for the same type of repair.

I don't think he knew what he was doing. Not professional, this was a total waste of money, had to get someone else in to finish, and also the hose he installed leaked and we are going to have to replace it.
Response from Insurance
"I do not recall this client. I give a 90 day period on all parts and labor. If he called I would have given him his money back or fixed his problem for no additional cost."

Very fast to call back and schedule, but then "forgot" the appointment despite sending an email reminder a few hours before. Not a very knowledgeable repair man. He did not inspire confidence in his service or repair

The installation of my slide-in range was not an easy feat. I was impressed with the level of problem solving and creative thinking used by the installer. That is something you don't often see. The installation was completed with my upmost satisfaction. I would highly recommend him.

Joe was readily available, excellent knowledge of installation, and fast. The price was very reasonable for the degree of difficulty with our installation. Thanks for a good job. Carolyn Cooper

Joe showed up on time (5 mins earlier). Very professional. Tried to re-use parts that were in the house, thus saving us money. The final cost was exactly what he quoted earlier. Overall very satisfied.

I expected the repairman to show up in a company truck, and was surprised to see a beat up old compact car pull into the driveway. Thought the price was kind of high for the job. All he had to do was attach a gas line to the dryer and install the vent tube to the dryer. He also charged me $15.00 for a fitting which I felt was kind of high too. The price was $105.00 total. He insisted that the yellow tape he used on the gas connection was proper. I read that no tape should be used on a gas fitting, but he said it was gas tape. The guy did not look at all professional but was nice. He was quick to respond to my call for help.
Response from Insurance
"I gave her my price on the phone before I drove to her house to do the job. The yellow teflon gas tape is required to ensure a proper seal. The brass adapter fitting needed to complete the job was sold to the customer at cost. Using this fitting allowed the customer to return a $30.00 gas line she had purchased, thus saving her $15.00! I drive well over 2,000 miles a month. Driving a economy vehical helps me keep my prices low."

The owner/installer, Joe, was on time and personable. He was willing to lower his initial bid to $120 to install a microwave and a dishwasher to replace existing appliances. However, it took him 4 hours, way beyond what I expectedl. I don't know how much was his fault, but still, I felt obligated to pay him extra and so gave him $200.

Friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. Although challenged at first by the class of appliance, he consulted, assessed and successfully installed the unit.
