He took the time to thoroughly explain to me the issues with our roof and his proposed solution. His costs are reasonable and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Gave me a estimate and completed the repair Very promptly. The workers were very professionally and even went beyond the scope job. This company was very knowledgeable of my sunroom roof problem and repaired it quickly.

Ronnie and his two-person crew were incredibly responsive, most professional and helpful. The roof repair(s) were required because the first contractor did not stand by his work of last summer. Ronnie spent time on the roof diagnosing the issues and within 24 hours he provided a reasonable project proposal and his crew completed the work. I have no doubt that Mansfield and Sons will stand by their work.

Never answer phone for the past two months

I called Ronnie the owner and received his voice mail and I left him a message. Within minutes he returned my call. He said that he was in Richmond picking up supplies for his crew doing a job in Hilton Village. He said that he could take a look at my roof and give me an estimate later in the afternoon. Within 2 hours, Ronnie was at my door step. We went on my roof and looked where the roof vent had leaked. He called his crew to see where the was on finishing the other job that they were on. He said he could do the job today. Within about an hour and a half, 3 of his trucks showed up with 4 of his crew. Each of them was very professional, polite and respectful. Ronnie came shortly after to make sure they knew the scope of the job and check with me to ensure his crew knew what was expected, His crew did a great job. Ronnie has maintained constant contact with me through the entire job. They came on the very same day that I called them. Even though they had a very full schedule, the made a point of ensuring that they were able to work our repair into their schedule. I am most grateful, as it is just about to rain here again, and I don't have to worry about further rain damage. I strongly recommend them to everyone. Ah! The joy of searching for a repair specialist...contacted several companies for estimates. The range included those who took measurements and never returned an estimate, to those who provided an estimate but could not verify their license. My favorite...show up in your personal vehicle and then spam the potential customer for days. Apparently, you will run into contractors who create a 5-star reputation on the internet, only their main goal is to locate real estate on a dime! Like who doesnt know that trick!? What happened to the good old days when we all had full lives and needed an occasional repair, replacement or addition on our home? Home Advisor and Mansfield Sons, stood out from all the rest. Returned my call within hours and completed an inspection with a written estimate and a fair price, within days. They were on time, worked with me on my concerns, suggested improvements and did what they came to do. In the long run, professional, honest companies help create safer communities. My only concern is they will retire before the next roofing project!

A professional crew, easy to work with, and prompt doing the work. Good site prep and cleanup. I would have rated this company a straight 5, if not for some difficulties rescheduling some follow up to complete the job. My roof repair was completed as expected and to my satisfaction. I would recommend this firm.
