Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement
Allrestore, Roofing company I had the pleasure with dealing with when we had the big hail storm in 2019 in Surfside Beach club. They are very knowledgeable in all rude aspects and very professional. When they came to my house they were on time quickly completed changing out our whole roof in 2â 3 days and cleaned up behind themselves. Product use is Certainteed which is the best you can get. Job was outstanding I highly recommend Allrestore.

Hi Jim, I am disappointed you did not answer my last E-Mail. I appreciate all the effort and expense of my daughter in trying to find a reputable company to do the work since she could not be here to monitor their efforts. There was little communication with the non- English speaking workers and little supervision. Attention to detail was lacking. When they did the upper roof they did not remove the gutter and just extended the roof over the top of the gutter. They did not do a good job caulking around the chimney. When it rained water came in around the chimney, ran down the front of the white brick chimney, over the mantle onto the hearth. Paul returned and replied- Caulked around the chimney, but we, me and Barbara, had to clean up the mess inside the house. When they did the flat roof over the rest of the house, they removed the existing flashing over the garage door and did not replace it. After they finally replaced the flashing it was not sealed properly and water continues oozing down staining the shingles over the garage door. Yesterday a local professional worker came and power washed all the bricks, siding and patio. He was very meticulous and the results were awesome. Gary used to be affiliated with HomeAdvisors and received five-star revues for his work. He was able to examine the roof and can caulk and seal around the flashing before it stains the newly cleaned siding. I am sorry your work did not measure up to our expectations. I still think you took advantage of my daughter and me, an elderly, crippled, old lady.

"We are sorry that you feel this way. As we stated time and time again, our warranty does not cover the way water runs off of your roof. You called and stated that water is running off of your roof and stained the shingles above your garage. We sent you pictures that revealed these stains were in several areas prior to Allrestore replacing your roof. The roof system you have is a flat roof and prior to Allrestore replacing it, water was accumulating and holding up to 3-inches deep in some areas. Allrestore had your roof system designed by the suppliers engineering firm to divert the water off of the house. Each time you called, we have responded and taken care of any concerns. Now that we tell you that the way water runs off the roof is not a covered item within the warranty, you have written a poor review. As for the non-English speaking crews, this is certainly not true. All of our guys speak English and if there were any communication issues, your son who was there each day before we left spoke extremely good Spanish. We do not remove gutters to install roofing materials, the goal is to allow water to run-off of the roof to drip into the gutters. The chimney issue that you mention was the result of the flat roof system and not the shingled roof that we originally replaced. You chose to wait for replacing the flat roof even after it was suggested to replace it. Allrestore is very sorry that you feel that you were taken advantage of, this is certainly not our intention. We simply cannot be responsible for those who neglect their homes for decades, have poorly designed homes or those who cannot understand that warranties cover water leaking into a home and not how it runs off of a home. We did offer to send a representative out for a $75.00 fee for our travel time from Myrtle Beach to Georgetown, since this was not a covered item of the warranty, however, you did not want to pay it. Please understand that this does not affect the warranty. If water does enter inside the structure within the time frame of the warranty, it will be covered."

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement
The project went very smoothly, from the initial consult with Jim H to the completion of the work. Jim provided us with all the information we needed about every component to be used as part of the roof assembly, and he gave us expert advice as well. He maintained communications with me, promptly answering questions I had, as we were securing three proposals and I wanted to be sure we were comparing apples to apples. Jim's price was very competitive. The crew arrived early in the morning on the scheduled start date. They worked very hard, in incredible heat that week, for about 12 hours a day for three days. They maintained a pretty clean work area throughout the duration, and did a thorough cleanup at the completion. The roof was completed just before hurricane Irma glanced us, so it got a thorough leak test! It also looks great. I am thoroughly pleased with Jim and AllRestore, and I am confident that the company will be there for me should I ever need assistance with the roof.

The project went extremely well from start to finish. Jim Hoctor was excellent. He was professional and courteous. He explained the job in detail and completed it as described. He went well beyond expectations. He was interested in me as well as just doing a job for me. The same day I contacted him, he was on my roof surveying the situation and taking pictures. I was out-of-town, and he sent me extremely good pictures and details explaining what he saw and what needed to be done. His crew was excellent as well. They arrived early each day and stayed late. They worked continuously through the day and cleaned up every night before they left. When the job was finished, the roof looked excellent, and the property was in the same condition it was before they started. I have never worked with a better vendor, and I highly recommend Jim and his team for any work they perform.

I got five quotes before I picked Allrestore.. Our roof was in very weathered condition and had been installed wrong. Jim gave us a very detailed estimate with photos showing all the problems that needed to be corrected and repairs that were needed before they could re-shingle. We knew we needed a new roof but were completely unaware of how much damage we had up there. I happen to be off work so I saw how hard the men worked to put up my new roof. The work was done on a timely basis and with attention to he smallest detail. Jim stayed on top of every area of concern to make sure it got installed according to the specifications needed for our roof. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend Allresttore to anyone.

We recently purchased a home in DeBordieu and have placed our home in Ga. on the market. The home we purchased was in dire need of a new roof. After getting two quotes I decided to check the Home Advisor site and my wife and I are sure glad we did!! I noticed several outstanding reviews for Allrestore and it's owner Jim Hoctor. I called Jim and we set up an appt. for the next day. Jim is a real pro and gave us a very fair quote along with a great warranty. It's worth noting that another prominent roofer in the DeBordieu area had given us a quote that was nearly double for the exact same scope of work. I am not one who usually writes reviews on any sites, but I almost felt obligated to write this review. While my wife and I went back to our Ga. home, Jim and his team got to work., I was sent daily updates via I-phone photos and was able to see for myself each days progress. The job was completed in a timely manner, the clean up at the work site was great, and the quality of the roof installation was outstanding. If you live in this area you truly owe it to yourself to call Jim Hoctor and get a quote. You'll be glad you did..I know we are!!

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
We could not have asked for any more professional or quality service. We had a leaky roof on a patio enclosure that was done by another contractor who had since fled the area. Jim came out, took pictures, told us what was done wrong, sent the pictures to the parent company of the first contractor, and we had approval within a couple of days to have it done right. Jim showed up with crew and did it right. We could not be any more pleased. We highly recommend Jim and will call him for any more work that we ever need.

We hired Jim and Mack to repair our leaking chimney roofing. While discussing the job with Jim we also asked if they could also repair the siding on the chimney. Mack did an outstanding job on the chimney and roof. Considering the water damage that Mack found and the additional materials needed, the final cost of the job was very fair. Will definitely hire Jim and Mack for our next repair or install project.

Jim Hoctor, the owner of Allretore Contracting, went above and beyond in his effort to make sure we got what we wanted. We had problems with a roofing contractor who had done a shoddy job. Jim helped us negotiate a free repair to the roofing before he went ahead and installed the gutters. This is a company that I would highly recommend without hesitation!
