Reviews
Write a ReviewDo yourself a favor and go with another company. They do not take accountability when tech breaks something, instead they will put you through a week of hell to include all upper management. Very poorly managed organization. I would not recommend.
There technicians are very friendly and helpful
Normally they service my AC for the spring and fall through home shield. I got a call directly from them as they were running a special. It was about the reg price so I had them come out. When they arrived I was at work but they had my wife turn off the AC unit so they could check it. I soon got a call that the "blower had burned out and I needed to come talk to them. They explained that the Blower had burnt out due to a weak capacitor. When I explained it was working when I left they refuted that and they told me I needed a new System installed. they could install a blower and UV lamp but recommended I use American home shield to cash out and by a new unit as it would go out soon anyway. They turned off the breaker and stated to not turn it back on due to a fire risk with the blower being out should the heat turn on. The next morning I just wanted to check the system under for my own observation as I opened up the system the old capacitor was gone. I felt strange about that and called my brother in law who works on HVAC units for a living he had me give him the model number and told me he could be over the following Friday (he does not live near me). He came over put in a new capacitor and everything worked fine. Blower was not out. I thanked him and he said just keep what I got it was fine. Alltech recommended an over $10,000 replacement when there was nothing wrong with the blower in the first place. They are very friendly but if you use them I would recommend getting a second opinion if you they try selling you an entire systems for sure. And if you cant test it yourself be careful with just taking their word for it.
Josh was the tech that came out. He was very professional and clean. He was courteous and on time. He spoke clearly about what was going on with the A/C. He had everything he needed right then and there to find out what was wrong. Also, the problem should be fixed in about 2 days which is super fast compared to my experience with other repair companies. I would defiantly recommend.
only complaint they did not send receipt to my email like i had asked
Not only did they fix the problem, they explained it to us & told us how to avoid repeating it.
Very friendly and helpful. Stayed in touch at all times. Could not ask for a better company......
