Isaac came out to give me an estimate in the second week April. A contract with email to me on April 16. The cost of the stump grinding was going to be $275. I made a payment on April 25 of $95. A few days after I tried calling no less than six times trying to find out when they were coming. I was told by one person they're having a "schedule meeting" that afternoon and someone would call me back. No one ever called back. On May 12 they showed up to grind the stump's. I wasn't home. The next day I went out to find that they left a 24 inch root sticking out of the ground. I emailed Isaac telling him that I wasn't happy. He came out, cut some remaining debris. We had a pleasant conversation. I get the bill in the mail for $295. The estimate I was given was for $275. At this point I am done. I will never recommend them to anybody. Responded to quote quickly. Took about 2 1/2 weeks from the time he got the signed quote from me until the work was actually done. Work done was exactly what I wanted. I would use Almstead again.
