Aloha Concrete & Construction

Feke and his crew poured our driveway last year on August 2nd. It was shown in the morning that is was going to rain that day. When I told him of my concern, he said not to worry. I was not an expert in concrete, so I reluctantly took his word. Directly after the concrete was poured, it began to rain. His crew put plastic over the newly poured rain, but when they removed the plastic, the concrete had plastic blotches imprinted all over our large driveway. He asked his crew to try to smooth it out with a trowel, but that left ugly swirling impressions all over our driveway. In addition, his crew accidentally bull dosed down an expensive lamp post, broke all of our sprinkler pipes and left our landscaping a total disaster. After we paid, which we should not have done until he corrected the deplorable job he did, he refused to help fix anything. He told us that he cannot control the weather and he was the most rude and disrespectful professional we have ever worked with. Our concrete looks horrible. It is discolored throughout, has swirl patterns in random places, now is pitting all over and is such poor quality work. I wish I could attach photos so you can see how bad it looks today. Our neighbors were all shocked that they poured our driveway in the rain. I have asked him to come and repair the pitting and he does not even have the decency to respond. I feel bad for his employees. He treated them poorly while at our house for a week. We will be suing him and his company and we have never sued anyone in our 60 years on this planet. That is how appalled we are with his work and behavior. Find a different concrete expert. Don't take a chance with Feke and Aloha Concrete and Construction. I am convinced that many of these reviews are fake. He is so unethical and we could totally see him doing that. We don't want anyone else to go through the hell Feke has put us through. I wish I could attach the pictures of his failure. He even admitted to me that he was not proud of the job that was done, but would not do anything to correct it. Shame on him. Best wishes for your project, but run from this contractor.

After reading many reviews about Aloha Concrete's and their work, we felt pretty sure they would be excellent. They are excellent! Extreme care shown--regarding preferences about where concrete will be, leveling to correct slant of driveway (our house is on a hill), where joins will be, about the rebar we decided would be used, getting job done before weather would not be good weather for concrete, concrete sealing, etc. Communication (with Feke, pronounced fay-kay, in charge) could not have been better: he would check and double-check about what we wanted, in case he might have forgotten or we had changed our minds. Very impressed by attention to the final finish--Aloha's team of workers worked and reworked and reworked the surface, as it was drying, that first day, polishing and polishing. Had no idea till our driveway was demolished, and then road base and rebar were placed, and cement was poured, how much work goes into a project like this, and carefully tended poured new concrete. They assembled early in the morning, and one night worked well into the evening. We have a driveway now we are pleased with and will proudly pass on to whoever owns our house next, someday. A good feeling having hired a good crew--they seem to know how to solve any problem. Working together, they cheerfully removed heavy planter boxes which were at the top of our driveway, before beginning; they also understood our concerns about old concrete on our front steps, and helped us out by applying a new coat of concrete to them for an improved look/finish. A good-hearted group. A fine driveway project completed, just in time, before colder weather. Thank you, Aloha Concrete!

They were absolutely amazing to work with and we could not be happier with our new patio. They removed our old slab, leveled the very uneven terrain, and poured, stained, and stamped the large new patio in under 24 hours. We had to have sprinkler work to prepare for the patio and the sprinkler teams kept not showing up or bailing, but Aloha was so understanding and flexible helping us to stay on their schedule as things changed. Always quick to respond, professional, and overall wonderful to work with. The finished product is even better than we anticipated. I HIGHLY recommend Aloha. Several neighbors have already asked for their information as they were super impressed as well!

Feke showed up on time and completed a very large project 50 X30 within 2 days it looks fantastic and replaces a really poor pad that was placed before.

They did not slopp the concrete I have puddles in my driveway

Quick, friendly, professional, honest, they got in and out the same day! We doubled the size of our patio. Came back and touched up. Very responsive to changes. Change charges were fair, they didnt take advantage. He is on our list for future work.

Aloha Concrete completed a retaining wall and driveway expansion.They started and completed my job 1 week to the day after I hired them. They were competitive, hard working, worked long hard hours and completed excavation of hill,forming and pouring of concrete in 3 days worth of work. I am very pleased with the results and how well they were to work with. I will hire them for a couple future projects down the road.

They came in at the price i was looking for. Good boss and crew. Did a good job cleaning up after the work was done. I will be hiring them to do the side of my house.

Although initially friendly, family-owned, and experienced, the poor communications and quality issues with the end result revealed the true cost of dealing with Aloha Construction. I should have selected another contractor.

Replaced my driveway, everything from tearing out the old to finishing the new, in a single day. Had a great experience.

They responded quickly to my request for a quote. They were able to quickly set the starting date. They came on the scheduled date, got the prep work completed and poured concrete the next day! I was very pleased!

These guys are fast and very good. I am so pleased with the patio they poured for me! They did the excavation and formed the pad one day, poured it the next and put the texture and color on it. Couldn't believe it. They even added some decorative details just to make it look perfect. Couldn't be happier with the work they did!

Cleanup of job sight could have been better. Overall am pleased. Would not hesitate to recommend them. Good job, well done!
