Don Birch is an experienced builder/constractor who knows houses. He did a really thorough inspection and issued s detailed report which we can use to guide us in repairs. He was also a nice guy who took the time to answer our questions and give advice with regard to items that needed to be addressed. "As I recall that was a dent in the garage door panel from what has described a fist (anger issue) sorry I missed that but the mechanism of the door and opener was functioning as designed on the day of inspection. I did find another? fist? damage on the backside of the closet door that was in the report. Otherwise, it was a Great House as I recall."

Mr. Birch did a great job. I had made an offer on a home that was still occupied, and the day of his inspection there was a car in the way of the entrance to the attic. He was willing to return to the house for a second time to complete the inspection. Very quick to reply to email or text message. Very detailed 40 page report with annotated screenshots of the things on the house he was inspecting. Will use him again in the future and highly recommend.

I shopped around for a home inspector, specifically asking about their background, licenses, etc. Don has done it all when it comes to construction. Don doesn't talk much unless there's something he needs to bring to your attention. Great report, color pictures with details, explanations of what he finds, and follows up if you have questions about the report. I HIGHLY recommend Don. Just check out his background... I would advise anyone hiring Don for an inspection to be there when he does it. Don takes time to alert you when he finds something noteworthy and then explains your options in dealing with the problem. Turnaround is prompt and the report is detailed.
