Excellent company to deal with. Skunks were coming under my fence from my neighbor's yard that were living under his patio. I called Mel and Jacob came out the next day. In 6 days they caught 11 skunks. Very good service, very friendly and they knew their business. I hope I don't have to but would hire them again if needed. Mark W

I had squirrels in my attic and roof, and hired Alpha animal control because their quote was very reasonable. They were very knowledgeable and came over daily to set traps and move the squirrels until I did not hear them in my attic anymore. I would definitely hire them again and would highly recommended them to anyone with pest problems.

Lack of follow up after paid for service

They were really up front with pricing and they guarantee their work. I have (had) a number of squirrels in my garage tearing things apart. In 4 days they trapped 4 animals and left the traps out to see if any other little buggers were going to take their place. It was $300 flat (plus $10 if you pay with a credit card) to trap as many animals as they need to till the problem is gone. The squirrels had torn holes in my garage flashing so they can also repair the damage and block the holes to make sure no other families get in there and do the same thing. I am writing this while they are still in the trapping phase but they quoted me $49/entry to repair the holes. I have 3 entries that i know of so I am expecting another $150 in repair which I thought was reasonable. Good people all around.

On the plus side, they started work quickly and offered a fixed price to complete the task of eliminating the squirrels from the house. They were supposed to patch up the holes afterward for a low fee (exact amount not discussed). The first week went well and they captured squirrels. The problems started afterward when they could not show up to the check the traps due to car problems. They were horrible at communicating when they would appear and would not return phone calls. I had to continually call back until someone finally called me. I don't even mean the same day but 2 business days later. When they were not able to show up, I had to visually check the traps to ensure that animals were not caught and trapped for days. The lack of consistency and reliability became extremely frustrating. My last phone 2 calls were to schedule the removal of the traps and to patch up the holes through which the squirrels entered the house. They never called back to finalize the job and we are having to find someone to finish. We gave them multiple opportunities to improve communication without any success. Because they would not complete the task of patching the walls as soon as the traps were pulled, we hope the squirrels do not move back into the attic in the meantime. Essentially, the lack of consistency in showing up and inability to return phone calls are the rationale for the low rating.
