Alpha Contracting

This company is now called Delaware Home Improvements. Use caution, watch every step, do not give all money upfront. Hold back 50% and have an outside inspector checking every day at the end of the job.

Took deposit in August 2018-never said it was non-refundable. Did not start construction till January 17, 2019. Did some work but not up to building inspector requirements. Gave him cash for 1st progress payment. Then he asked for us to pay for some of the materials. We agreed and we would deduct from balance owed him. Found out he was purchasing items for other projects using my accounts. He put wrong color roof shingles on addition and they had to be changed out. Again he asked us to purchase them. We did to expedite the change out which he did. Advised him that we would not purchase any more materials as the amount we now owe him is the amount he told us to withhold till the projects are completed. He has not returned calls/emails from the Town Building Department or The Building Inspector. He has not returned my calls or texts. I have filed a formal complaint with the Attorney General office of Consumer Protection -State of Delaware. WOULD NO RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THIS CONTRACTOR FOR ANY WORK - ALPHA CONTRACTING, LLC. THE REASON FOR THE .5 STARS IS IT DOES NOT LET YOU RATE A ZERO.

i worked with Randy on a porch rebuild and he left after doing 3?4 of it and left the stairs to my front door un done for a month, finally got him to come back to do the steps, then after that he left a huge bag of sand and a pallet after he came back. He ran out of money to pay his contractors so he had to do his job by himself. I would never recommend this pro or company at all.

Late by 2-3 hours each day.

They were prompt, courteous and creative! Really helping me with some custom work.
